Miranda rolled her eyes to the sky and beyond. While she was just as horrified about Ian's decision to turn down the position of president, her reaction was less about that and more about him quitting the Saxon group entirely.
She was actually torn between being excited for David or Ian. At the same time, she was terrified because none of them seemed to want that position. However, it was not the time to deal with her own emotions because Jasmine was still throwing a tantrum.
"We are rich enough Jasmine." Ian responded unfazed by Jasmine's shrieking and crying. "I want to focus on myself and what makes me happy. Being president of the Saxon group is not everything."
Jasmine gasped. "You son of a bitch!! What about the children? What about me and my happiness? I want to be the president's wife!"
