After living for hundreds of years, Medusa finally gave herself the chance to wake up late one morning. The world outside her window came to life with the sounds of nature as the sun shone its bright light on it.
The relaxing sound of cicadas chirping filled the air, going along with the soft rustling of leaves in the wind. But it was a strange bird sound—a loud burping sound—that really caught her attention. It was the Svalbard Rock Ptarmigan, a beautiful but leisurely creature that had become a favorite part of her morning routine.
Medusa was lying in her bed, wrapped in a warm and cozy shell. She let the strange sounds of the outside world wash over her. She looked at Aleysia, who was already awake and full of ideas.
Aleysia was sitting on the porch of their room with canvases and brushes all around her. Medusa felt a lot of different feelings when she saw her lover; she felt admiration, love, and a deep sense of guilt.
