His guard was driving and wanted to speak up his opinion and the easiest way to handle the current situation he was in because this wasn't their first time in fighting, and then, their arguments were becoming intense. They needed to settle down and talk things out and even divorce if they couldn't see themselves having a future together.

"It's just a ring, can't you buy another one for her? I don't think she won't be appreciative if you did!" This was his honest opinion, he thought she could be nagging about the wedding ring and with a new ring, she could at least calm down.
