"Will Doctor Shao be staying here for a meal?" Ah Mo asked.
"No need," Shao He waved her hand.
"Then please wait for a moment, I will immediately have someone brew a pot of tea for you."
Shao He nodded in acknowledgment.
Ah Mo hurriedly left.
A moment later, someone brought over a cup of tea and placed it on the desk; Shao He reached out for the cup, took a light sip, and a faint fragrance lingered on her taste buds.
A maid walked over, holding Lili's hand. When Lili saw Shao He, she joyfully rushed over.
"Pretty Auntie, has my daddy come back yet?"
Seeing those clear eyes, Shao He raised her hand to touch the top of her head and softly replied, "He'll be back soon, daddy is going to be home shortly."
"Really? That's fantastic." Lili cheered happily, the thought of soon seeing her daddy making her extremely excited.
"Has Lili been a good girl recently? Have you been obediently eating your meals?"
"Yes, Lili has been very good."
