Chapter 26 - Gathering the Celestial Beast Companions and Awakening the Beast Pillars

After forging the first living weapons and opening the Spirit Weapon Soul Worlds, the sect's transformation reached a new height.

But the Main Character knew that true strength was not complete with weapons and pills alone.

In the ancient records, it was written:

"A true sect stands not only upon the shoulders of men, but alongside the might of divine beasts."

Thus began the quest for the lost Celestial Beast Companions—mythical beings from Chinese legends, sealed away since the fall of the Primordial Sects.

---

Awakening the Beast Pillars

At the four corners of the sect, ancient Beast Pillars lay dormant—massive stone columns carved with the images of:

Azure Dragon (East – Sovereign of Spring and Wood)

Vermilion Bird (South – Sovereign of Summer and Fire)

White Tiger (West – Sovereign of Autumn and Metal)

Black Tortoise (North – Sovereign of Winter and Water)

Each pillar was sealed with thousands of runes, layered by lost civilizations.

The Main Character, using the accumulated knowledge from all types of art books collected by the sect, devised a multi-layered plan:

Formation Masters deciphered the shifting energy diagrams.

Talisman Masters crafted spiritual keys to unlock the seals.

Alchemy Experts prepared elemental offerings to nourish the awakening beasts.

Weapon Masters forged ceremonial weapons to channel the Beast Qi safely.

Every disciple contributed; every master lent their power.

The awakening of the Beast Pillars became a sect-wide ceremony, symbolizing their unity and destiny.

---

The Return of the Celestial Beasts

One by one, the seals broke.

From the East Pillar, a young Azure Dragon coiled into the skies, its scales shimmering with spring's first rain.

From the South Pillar, a Vermilion Bird blazed forth, wings igniting the heavens in burning scarlet.

From the West Pillar, a White Tiger roared, its paws striking sparks from the earth.

From the North Pillar, a Black Tortoise, bearing a serpent entwined around its shell, emerged, dripping with the purest waters.

These were not full gods—yet.

They were Beast Spirits, young and incomplete, seeking partners to grow with.

The Main Character, with his Improvement Art and his boundless spirit, formed an Eternal Covenant:

The Celestial Beasts would bond with the sect, growing alongside the disciples.

Each student who resonated with a beast would receive a share of their power.

In turn, the sect would protect, nurture, and honor the beasts as equals.

---

The Sect's Transformation

The sect's lands reshaped themselves:

Azure Dragon's Blessing — Spirit springs and herbal gardens flourished.

Vermilion Bird's Blessing — Pill flames and forging fires burned hotter and purer.

White Tiger's Blessing — Martial training fields became fiercer and sharper, tempering body and soul.

Black Tortoise's Blessing — Defensive formations strengthened, and spirit pools deepened.

Each student was guided to attune to a beast based on their elemental affinity.

A new hierarchy formed, not of rank, but of Symbiosis:

Azure Dragon Disciples

Vermilion Bird Disciples

White Tiger Disciples

Black Tortoise Disciples

The sect was no longer merely a human force.

It had become a living ecosystem of cultivators and divine beasts, moving as one unstoppable tide.

---

The Shadows Deepen

Yet as the Beast Pillars awakened, ancient enemies also stirred—

Forgotten clans who once controlled the beasts before falling into madness.

And deep in the void between realms, an ancient Fifth Beast, long exiled and seeking vengeance, began to move.

The true age of myth had only just begun.
