Coming downstairs, Yao Ran entered the kitchen, the doorbell rang before she could take out the ingredients for tonight's dinner.

Curious about who was coming, Yao Ran walked to the door and opened it–only to see Yao Yuechuan standing there.
"Elder Cousin, you are here."
"Ran Ran, you said you would tell me the details about what Gao Shuwei did to you this afternoon." He said as he stepped inside the villa.
"Yes." Yao Ran answered and then led him to the living room.
After they took their seats on the couch, she asked, "What do you want to know?"
Yao Yuechuan met her gaze and asked, "Did he tell you why he wanted the Lingyuan Jade Pendant?"
Yao Ran shook her head. "He just told me to hand over the Lingyuan Jade Pendant and claimed he wouldn't hurt me as long as I listened to him."
Hearing this, Yao Yuechuan frowned in thought and muttered, "This isn't like him at all. He must be hiding something from us."
