Tong Ran had the taxi stop not too far away and walked the rest of the way.
The West Suburb area was desolate, and the sound of insects could be heard when stepping on the dry tree leaves. Tong Ran walked with her hands in her pockets, fighting back the fear as she circled around abandoned factory buildings and took a while to find the warehouse marked A01.
The surroundings were pitch black, the only light being the faint orange glow from the first floor of the building.
Tong Ran didn't hesitate much. What had to be faced would have to be faced sooner or later, so she lifted her leg and entered.
She had just stepped through the main entrance when a porcelain bowl came flying towards her, accompanied by a woman's angry roar, "Stop following me, get lost!"
Clang!
Tong Ran dodged, and the porcelain bowl shattered against the wall behind her.
Seeing her appear, the woman's voice noticeably deepened, "Why did you come?"
