The Tathagata Buddha questioned Jiang Liu. This was within Jiang Liu's expectations.
Thus, Jiang Liu narrated the explanations he had prepared long ago, one by one, to the Tathagata Buddha.
He said, for instance, that the three demons of the Lion Camel Kingdom had indeed almost consumed all the people of the Lion Camel Kingdom, from the king to the common people.
This was indeed the most horrifying sight he had seen on his journey to the west, and he had never seen any demon as cruel as this one!
Then, he received the pleas of all the common people of the Lion Camel Kingdom to uphold justice.
He even took out the Umbrella of the Masses, which gathered the faith of the masses, generating destiny!
Since he had promised, he had to investigate thoroughly!
He didn't want to confront the two Bodhisattvas, but since the two Bodhisattvas allowed their mount to commit such heinous acts, how could he not pursue it? Wouldn't that violate his promise?
