Han Xin knocked lightly on the glass door. The sound carried, drawing their attention. Lian looked up and peeled off her gloves as she stood. Mei spun her chair around with a curious smile.
"What is it, Xin-ge?" Mei asked, leaning forward.
Han Xin raised the bag in his hand. "I brought you snacks."
The reaction was immediate. Lian and Mei bolted from their workstations so fast, you'd think they hadn't eaten in days. Han Xin set the bag down on the bench, barely managing to step aside before the pair began tearing through its contents.
