The sound of battle echoed through the forest, a violent crescendo of steel and chakra. The Konoha ninja eyed the strange weapons wielded by their foes—the Seven Ninja Swordsmen. These swords, dark blue in hue and barbed at the edges, seemed to pulse with life, their blades singing a low, eerie hum as if they were alive.
"Hiss!"
A chill ran down the spines of the Konoha ninjas, a creeping dread settling in as the blades shifted in the hands of their wielders. The swords weren't just tools of destruction; they were something else—something unnatural. The moment they made contact with a Konoha ninja, the effect was instantaneous.
One ninja attempted to parry the blow, but the sword merely grazed his side. In the blink of an eye, his body seemed to wither. His previously bright eyes, full of determination and energy, dulled. His face, once healthy, rapidly turned yellow, and his once vibrant skin shriveled, leaving only a husk. His pupils dilated unnaturally as his life force drained away. He collapsed to the ground, twitching once before going still, dead without a mark on him except the absence of vitality.
"What's going on?!" a nearby ninja shouted in horror. His voice was filled with disbelief. His companion—just moments ago full of life—had been reduced to nothing more than a shriveled shell.
The Konoha ninjas couldn't comprehend it. There were no wounds. No visible marks. Yet, the man had been killed instantly by the touch of that cursed sword.
Uchiha Yoruki, currently engaged with three of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, noticed the panic among his comrades. His three-magatama Sharingan flared to life as his eyes focused on the sword that had taken his ally's life.
Inside the blade, he could see it: chakra, raw and voracious, being absorbed by the weapon like a predator devouring its prey. It wasn't just a sword; it was a vessel, feeding on the life force of those it touched.
"A broadsword that can absorb chakra?" Yoruki muttered under his breath, a chill running through him. He had heard of chakra-absorbing techniques, but a sword capable of such a feat was unheard of.
Before he could fully process this new revelation, his opponents attacked, their movements swift and coordinated. The three ninja, wielding their deadly blades, swung down in unison, aiming for his head.
"Uchiha style: Blast Flame Dance!" Yoruki called out, his voice filled with determination. Flames burst from his blade, dancing and swirling into a myriad of fiery sword shapes that clashed against the incoming attacks. The air crackled with the heat of the flames, and explosions rang out as the swords collided.
"Boom! Boom!" The force of the explosion sent all four combatants stumbling backward. They regrouped, each sizing the other up.
"Interesting," Ameyuri Ringo, one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, grinned as she watched the exchange. She gave a brief glance toward Kushimaru Kuriarare and Jinpachi Munashi, then returned her focus to Uchiha En, the third member of the Uchiha clan engaged in her own battle.
Meanwhile, several Konoha ninjas had fallen to the swords that absorbed chakra. Their deaths were swift and silent, their bodies drained of everything that kept them alive.
Elsewhere on the battlefield, Uchiha Fugaku and Terumi Ryuunosuke were locked in a fierce struggle. Fugaku, the leader of the Uchiha clan, fought with precision, his Sharingan constantly at work, analyzing every movement of his opponent. Terumi Ryuunosuke, a formidable master of the Hidden Mist Village, countered each move with deadly skill. It was a contest of titans, neither willing to give ground.
Fugaku's mind raced. The appearance of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen had thrown a wrench in his carefully laid plans. Though he knew of these swords, their abilities were still an enigma. The concept of a sword that could absorb chakra seemed beyond belief—yet here it was, proving to be a deadly force in the hands of their enemies.
"Don't touch that ninja sword!" Fugaku shouted to his comrades, his voice filled with urgency. "If it touches you, your chakra will be sucked away!"
As if on cue, Terumi Ryuunosuke attempted to slip past him. With a swift motion, he swung his water whip toward Fugaku, attempting to strike him from behind.
"Swish!"
Fugaku's Sharingan flared to life, predicting her attack. He rolled to the side just in time, narrowly avoiding the strike. He immediately focused on the next threat, his face growing darker with concern. Konoha had twice as many ninjas as the enemy, but the Seven Ninja Swordsmen and their cursed weapons were proving to be a formidable obstacle.
Meanwhile, on the battlefield where the Ino-Shika-Chou trio was engaged, thick mist surrounded them, blocking even Uchiha En's Sharingan. The Hidden Mist Technique was at play, a technique known only to the ninjas of the Hidden Mist Village. The mist swirled around them, making it nearly impossible to see their foes.
From the mist, a cold, emotionless voice echoed. "Konoha ninja, you were so arrogant just now. Look, I will chop off your heads one by one."
The mist thickened, and Shikaku, along with his companions, remained calm, sensing the enemy's presence.
"There!" Inoichi shouted, pointing in the direction of their target. Choza's arm swelled, expanding as he launched a powerful punch, but the blow missed its mark. A surprised cry echoed from the mist.
"Perception ability?" muttered, his voice tinged with both curiosity and caution.
Shikaku's brow furrowed. "In such thick fog, the shadow can't extend to capture the target successfully. We must leave here as soon as possible."
"I see," Choza said. He quickly formed a series of hand seals. "Super Multi-size Technique!"
But just as he finished the seals, the mist erupted with a burst of chakra light, revealing the figure of an enemy wielding two swords. The figure slashed down toward Choza, creating a massive chakra ball that barreled toward him.
"Boom!" The impact shook the ground, forcing Choza to halt his Multi-size technique. He staggered back, barely avoiding the devastating blow.
"What a great strength!" came the voice from the mist. "He was able to take my flatfish head-on!"
The mist once again thickened, enveloping the trio, and they were trapped in the haze, unable to escape.
On the outskirts of the battlefield, Fuguki Suikazan advanced through the Konoha camp, his broadsword gleaming with menace. His movements were swift, his blade cutting through the air with deadly precision. He swung the sword at a Konoha Jonin, the attack aimed to slice him in two.
"Earth Escape: Earth Flow Wall!" The Jonin responded quickly, forming hand seals to create a solid wall of earth to block the attack.
"Swish!" The sword flashed through the earth wall as if it were paper. The wall collapsed under the sheer force of the blade.
Before the Jonin could react, a massive hammer—connected to the axe by a long chain—smashed into his head. Blood and brain matter exploded from his skull, showering the area in gore.
The scene was horrific, and yet the wild man, the one wielding the hammer, showed no remorse. His eyes were cold and emotionless as he licked the blood from his lips, a twisted smile spreading across his face.
Konoha was helpless. No one could stop the rampage of the members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen. Their swords drained chakra with every touch, and their brute force was overwhelming.
Despite the Konoha ninjas surrounding them, including elite members of the Hyuga and Uchiha clans, the two monsters continued their relentless assault.
Fuguki Suikazan swung his massive blade Samehada, the air singing with its power.
A Hyuga ninja reacted quickly, striking with precision. His chakra formed an air cannon that shot forward, aimed directly at the incoming blade.
The attack collided with the sword, but to no effect. The sword barely moved, and the Hyuga ninja's attack dissipated as if it had never existed.
The Konoha ninjas, realizing the futility of ninjutsu against these cursed swords, resorted to throwing ninja tools.
