.

With that thought, Arata took a deep breath and looked at Danzo.

Danzo was staring back at him—hesitant, kind of confused. Like he wanted to say something, but couldn't. Not in front of everyone.

Arata narrowed his eyes slightly. He knew Danzo could feel the pressure. He had made his choice. Now it was time to act.

Danzo panicked a little. His stomach tightened. But then, that chakra inside him—Indra's chakra—pushed back.

"It doesn't matter," it whispered. "You're better than that Senju brat anyway."

Danzo straightened up. His pride started to rise again.

I've never done anything wrong, he told himself. And maybe… yeah, maybe Arata is strong, but I'm not weak either. If we fought, maybe it would be a tie.

If the real Indra had heard that thought, he would've laughed so hard he'd fall off the Pure Land. Even Indra's soul would say, "Bro, what delusion is this?"

But this wasn't Indra's soul—it was just leftover chakra. It couldn't laugh. It could only boost Danzo's ego more and more.

Danzo also noticed Arata's reaction.

Arata didn't respect him.

He could feel it.

Arata didn't see him as a rival… or even someone on his level.

And Danzo knew—if he didn't respond now, he'd lose his chance to prove himself. The Indra chakra pushed that thought deeper into him.

You have to show dominance. You have to make him acknowledge you.

Arata looked calm.

Danzo forced a smirk and said, "Tch… fine. Let's talk later, then."

He looked away with a cold snort, pretending like he didn't care.

Arata saw that and sighed.

So that's how it is, he thought. You still don't understand your limits Danzo..

"Danzo! What are you doing? What happened?" Hiruzen shouted, running over. "Hurry up and, you know, say sorry to Nii-chan Arata. Don't do anything stupid!"

Hiruzen was clearly nervous. He didn't want Danzo getting into trouble with Arata, especially not like this. After all, Arata was his big brother—the one who trained him, played with him when they were kids, and always looked out for him. Danzo came into their lives later.

Danzo clenched his fists.

"I didn't do anything!" he snapped. "Why should I apologize? This is unacceptable!"

He shot a glare at Hiruzen, anger bubbling under his skin. A little voice in his head—Indra's chakra—whispered, How dare he choose that Senju over you? You're stronger. You're better.

Before Danzo could say another word, BAM!—Arata appeared in front of him like lightning and punched him hard in the stomach.

Danzo flew back, gasping for air.

Hiruzen and the others froze, eyes wide. No one expected that. Some even looked at Arata with shock, maybe even disapproval.

Arata saw their faces and scoffed.

"Tch. I hate that look," he said coldly. "That fake sympathy. That judgment. You were the first one to make me feel that today, Danzo. And for that, you need to learn your place."

Before Danzo could react, BAM!—another punch. Danzo crashed to the ground, blood dripping from his mouth.

"Damn it…!" he growled, holding his gut. He didn't expect Arata to attack like that. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, eyes full of fire.

Arata walked toward him.

Suddenly, vines shot up from the ground, wrapping around Danzo's legs and arms. He struggled, shocked.

What the—? No hand signs? Who the hell uses Wood Style like this?!

"You gonna keep showing me that attitude, brat?" Arata asked, standing right in front of him.

Danzo spat on the ground. "No way. I haven't done anything wrong! You sneak-attacked me! You cheated!"

He glared at Arata with raw hatred—he didn't even know why it felt so strong. It was like something inside him was pushing it out.

I won't lose!

Suddenly, a gust of chakra exploded around Danzo. Everyone watching felt it—Hiruzen stepped back in shock.

"Wind Style: Vacuum Bullet!" Danzo roared.

He tried to break free, cutting through the vines with sharp wind. He leapt forward, trying to fight with his bare hands.

But BOOM!—another clean punch from Arata, straight to the face.

Danzo hit the ground again, hard. Blood ran from his nose. He panted, eyes spinning.
