Song Yan was already feeling drowsy as soon as she got into the car, and it wasn't until Gu Chenxiao called her that she finally opened her bleary, heavy-lidded eyes.

Song Yan took a couple of seconds to come to her senses, then unbuckled her seatbelt.
Just as she was about to open the car door to get out, a firm hand grasped her wrist, stopping her. Confused, she turned around and encountered a pair of dark, profound eyes.
"Just like that, you're leaving?"
Song Yan blinked, still somewhat perplexed.

Song Yan asked him with her eyes, and after he stared at her for a couple of seconds, he suddenly pulled her forward forcefully, then with his other hand, he pinched her chin.
"What did you call me just now?" His voice was indescribably low and alluring as he fixed his gaze on her eyes.
Song Yan looked bewildered.
"I didn't say anything just now."
