Within the dragon clan, the Dragon God Tree holds a special status it's a holy tree, as revered as the Ancestral Dragon himself. Now that the Ancestral Dragon has fallen, Antares, having already refined the Dragon Soul Crystal, can devour the Dragon God Tree. With the Dragon God Crown as well, Antares will become the new Dragon God, and may even become an existence similar to the Ancestral Dragon.
Antares got to work. The Dragon Soul Crystal transformed into a divine dragon and began devouring the Dragon God Tree.
Lin Moyu swung his Dao Sword, slicing off a large chunk of the Dragon God Tree and tossing it to the World Sealing Dao Lord.

"Could this be where the Great Dao Beasts live?" Lin Moyu wondered.
In the Soul Void, Great Dao Beasts were only souls he never knew what kind of environment they lived in. If Great Dao Beasts lived in such a place, it would make sense that they carried a curse.
"If the curse comes from the Scarlet Blood Great Dao, that's easier to handle. But it probably isn't that simple." Lin Moyu thought of the mutated dragon corpses he'd seen in the dragon tomb there had to be more to it.
The scene moved. After arriving in the Wasteland, the Ancestral Dragon began to act. He flew slowly, scanning the surroundings clearly cautious and unfamiliar with the area, likely his first time there.

A fierce battle broke out, but the Ancestral Dragon was weaker than expected and was suppressed by the Great Dao Beast. Lin Moyu realized this was because the Ancestral Dragon was too far from the Origin Continent the Yang Dragon Great Dao's power couldn't reach him, so he couldn't use his full strength.
The Great Dao Beast's power was even greater than an ordinary Dao Lord's, so the Ancestral Dragon was no match.
Lin Moyu saw the true form of the Great Dao Beast during the fight. Its general appearance was similar to what he'd seen in the Soul Void, but its physical body had differences it was clearly extremely powerful, covered in countless small holes that constantly released pink mist.
