What is a Pokémon that you like but others might not necessarily like?

The morning sun illuminates the town located on the shore of Pacifidlog Town, located on a small island mostly covered with wooden houses.
Ash and his team finally arrived here to make sure May was able to participate in the Pacifidlog Town Pokémon Contets, held here exactly today.
There was no time for them to waste, and all the Pokémon Coordinators here were busy adjusting their Pokémon Contest status between themselves and their Pokémon, so they were not able to fight against Ash when he challenged them in the local Pokémon Center. This was actually also the last Pokémon Contest held before the Grand Festival started, meaning that there were many Pokémon Coordinators coming here at the last moment to participate in the Pokémon Contest held here.
Ash really did feel a little regretful, feeling like he had missed out on a luckily chance to battle.
Moreover, most of the people who even came here to participate in the Pacifidlog Town Pokémon Contest were obviously the trolls, hopping to create an upset. Only a three of these Pokémon Coordinators were truly short of only their last official Pokémon Contest Ribbon. Everyone other than one very lucky and talented person here was going to be unable to participate in the upcoming Hoenn Region Grand Festival. Ash already knew that this time it will definitely be one of the hardest battles May will face in a while. After all, they would all do their absolute best to get that last Ribbon.
"Gentlemen and ladies, I'm sorry for keeping you all waiting! But now the Pacifidlog Town Pokémon Contest is finally about to begin. As many of our dear audience knows, this will be the very last official Pokémon Contest that will be held before this year's Hoenn Region Grand Festival. We can imagine how fierce the battle for this last official Pokémon Contest will be!"
Vivian announced the start of the game while she smiled at the crowd, making her own fans squeal in delight, but it really wasn't for them.
The smile and wink she gave was to Ash, not them.
The last time they met each other was actually just a few days ago when May participated and won her fourth official Pokémon Contest Ribbon. Though because of this last official Pokémon Contest being held here almost immediately, she couldn't spend much time with Ash.
So she was now happy to see him wave at her too. She could finally spend some time with him, hopefully.
But little did she know, it wouldn't be like that at all.

{What could this mean?}

This time Ash, Brock, and Max sat together and cheered for their friend. Without Ash by her side for her hardest official Pokémon Contest so far, May had to rely entirely on herself to think everything on the spot.
'You will be fine, May, trust me.' Ash believed in her, as he should do as her lover.
"Then the first round of the Pacificlod Town Pokémon Contest will now begin! First, contestant No. 1, Contestant Jessie please come on stage!"
When Ash heard this name, he knew that it was the same Jessie he knew who would be participating here. He was too familiar with her Aura not to recognize her from even behind the stage and the heavy curtains.
But he was still a little confused on why the Rocket Trio stopped working in that restaurant that they were on and began to follow his group again…
This was already the last official Pokémon Contest of this year. And Jessie didn't even have any official Pokémon Contest Ribbons of her own. And even if she wins this one, she wouldn't be able to participate in the upcoming Hoenn Region Grand Festival at all.
But it didn't look like she was joking at all. This was shown when they revealed that her entry number was No. 1, meaning she was the first one to be registered for this Pokémon Contest. So it seems that she came here to sign up very early in the morning.
As soon as Vivian finished speaking, mist began to float down from the stage, and Jessie and Meowth actually landed up from the stage top. This way of appearing on the stage was really one of the more unusual but unique way.
This time Jessie will use "her" Meowth, Ash was actually the one who was looking forward to it more than anyone else.
"Everyone, please enjoy my ice art!" Immediately after she said it, a large ice brick dropped from the stage top onto the ground in front of her.
Such items were still allowed to be used in the earlier rounds of official Pokémon Contests, just like May will use a ball with her Skitty, and some other Coordinators will use a frisbee with their Mightyena or whatnot.
"The first one will all of you see what true art really is!"
Meowth immediately began to us his Fury Swipes attack on the ice brick, he looked almost crazed.
The ice block was carved into a unique shape at an astonishing speed. During this period, ice chips were scattered everywhere. It was a contest.
In just a few seconds, the ice brick turned into what looked to be a person, but more like a mix of Giovanni and Ash, tho it was still more inclined towards Ash's face than Giovanni's face, the carving was holding a wine glass, with a Pikachu and a Persian standing next to him, it was very lifelike. Thankfully no one, other than Ash and Pikachu, noticed who that statue truly represented.
Meowth was actually very talented in most of the things he worked on, not only him, but the same can be said for Jessie and James. All three of them are extremely talented, but they just can't seem to figure out how to be real members of Team Rocket. They are literally pros at whatever they do, other than things related to Ash and their actual jobs as members of Team Rocket.
"I can't believe what I have just seen. Jessies Meowth used its Fury Swipes attack to create a memorizing ice sculpture. This is what I truly call true art!" Vivian was full of praise for it. Nurse Joy and her fellow official Pokémon Contest judges also agreed with Vivian said and said it was great.
Non of them seemed to realize or even care that there was a talking Meowth on the stage.
"Thats amazing!" Max said with stars in his eyes. Though this was more from mesmerized by the art than anything else. He had seen much better things.
Brock also nodded and said, "Yeah, it was very nice, but why does that ice sculpture figure look so familiar? Just where have I seen that person?"
Hearing this, Ash just smiled with a cold sweat drop. 'Are you serious, Brock? Even if you don't recognize Jessie in that disguise, like you never do, you should at least recognize this Meowth! It's taking for Arcoos' sake!' But Ash still held it within.
"The next move, the much better one!"
Then Meowth immediately stepped forward again and changed the Persian ice sculpture into an exact replica of his own shape.
Meowth really was ambitious cat.
But this performance still received the high points it rightfully deserved to get. Such techniques on that ice to turn it into this mostly beautiful sculptures was indeed considered art.
Ash looked at Jessie. Although she did ultimately failed to collect the five official Pokémon Contest Ribbons this time and will definitely miss the Grand Festival because of it, if she could persevere, she might become one of May's, or even Dawns, future formidable rival.
"Houndoom, use Shadow Ball and then a Swift!"
"Jynx, use Blizzard and use a Hypnosis to make it better!"
These are the two Pokémon Coordinators that Ash noticed are of a more higher level than the others, and this showed in their high scores. Their performance styles were actually very similar to one another, and the order of their moves were also one after another. They should be couple, that would explain pretty much all.
Moreover, the Pokémon's of these two Pokémon Coordinators, one Fire, one Ice, and their secondary types were Dark and Psychic. It really was a perfect match, even if it was opposite to one another sometimes.
Not that surprisingly, these two, the male aed Joshua and girl named Erica, should be two of May's strongest opponents in this Pokémon Contest.
Not long after these two Coordinators stepped down from their turns, it was finally May's turn to appear in stage, and this time she decided to use her adorable little Skitty to compete.
"Skitty, use Assist!" She looked like she knew what she was doing.
May really decide to let her Skitty use Assist right from the start, without any hesitations at all. Moves that even the Pokémon Coordinators and their Pokémon's don't know is used are sometimes what raises the audience's expectations by a lot. And it worked with its intended purpose.
This time, Skitty used her friend Bulbasaur's Razor Leaf attack.
"Razor Leaf?" May murmured and ordered decisively, "Skitty, use Blizzard and then immediately use Double Slap!"
Mays performance really impressed Ash, but it was still more so because her plan worked out. This would mean that the plans May created for Skitty worked. The plan was simple, but hard to replicate. It was to borrow a move from another Pokémon of the Coordinator and then use Skitty's other skills to perform in harmony.
Without enough experience and reaction ability, such a performance can easily overturn and lead to the users defeat.
Brock also nodded to what Ash told him, even he can very easily see that May's talent in Pokémon Contests has been almost fully utilized now. "Now all she needs to do is leave her mark on the Pokémon Contests as a whole." He said, almost a little jokingly, but Ash seemed to have agreed with him. And so did Pikachu, Ralts, and Togetic.
Max just nodded like he understood what they were talking about.
All everyone saw was that a beautiful Blizzard freezing all the Razor Leaf into ice green crystals, and then the following Double Slap shattered those green ice crystals, turning them into shiny green crystal ice shards, allowing them to fall down from the stage above and into the audience section, which was a perfect ending to this short but memorable performance.
"These are three, or four, very coordinated moves. First was the Assist that triggered her fellow partners Razor Leaf; then she immediately used a Blizzard to freeze time all and a final Double Slap to crush them all. May's Skitty's skills is really something that I can only hope to see again!" After Vivian finished speaking and began clapping for her actual friend, she already knew and wholeheartedly accepted that one day she will share Ash with May and the others.
The audience also burst into their own applause for the wonderful performance that May and her Skitty showed them.
Ash also clapped for his girlfriend, May's performance was of a very high standard, even for him, so there should be no real problem for her to pass from the first round.
"The first round of the Pacifidlog Town Pokémon Contest has finally come to an end!" After a moment, Vivian announced the four talented Pokémon Coordinators who will enter the second round of this Pokémon Contest.
The other two Pokémon Coordinators who also had four official Pokémon Contests Ribbons were already eliminated, even if it actually was just by .2 points.
Just as Ash expected, it was Jessie, May, Joshua, and Erica that made it into the next round.
But even he was a little disappointed that those two other Coordinators that had four official Pokémon Contests Ribbons hadn't made it. But someone like Joshua and Erica, who were both more inexperienced than them, made it.
Now there were only two rounds of this Pokémon Contest left before May can participate in the Grand Festival.
And the opponent that May was chosen to fight in the second round was none other than the Houndoom Trainer, Joshua!
But the first battle that happened in the semi-finals was the battle between Jessie and that Trainer of that Jynx, Erica!
Jessie and Meowth were quite funny. They even installed a mechanism on Meowths fur so that it can assist him by disguising himself as different Pokémon. They just passed it off as a very hard trained Meowth that learned a move to disguise itself as other Pokémon.
But how could such a little trick fool Ash? He repeated the same trick he once used and secretly used a little of his Psychic to completely crush the device on Meowth's body. As a result, they were directly disqualified from the Pokémon Contest.
Just when Jessie was about to lose her temper, Ash used his Psychic to secretly give her and the others a command. He then took the outside the place where the Pokémon Contest was still being held.
"Jessie, James, Meowth, my trip around the Hoenn Region is coming to an end, so what are your plans?" Ash looked at the Rocket Trio who had torn off their disguises and asked.
But now, it's obvious that they still don't have any ideas yet about their future, so they just looked at each other in confusion.
"By the way, since both Team Magma and Team Aqua have been disbanded. You can report this to Giovanni and say that you are one of the reasons. You can make up some believable lies, enough to not warrant much suspicion. I believe that he can reuse you to some extent. By the way, you can help me investigate the whereabouts of those members after the dissolution of these two organizations. The last time I met an Officer Jenny, she complained that there were still more members of those organizations they haven't caught. A true shame for her and her family as she said." Ash also had the responsibility of catching those guys, after all, it was because of him that was even happening in the first place.
"Alright, thank you, Boss!" The Rocket Trio was very delighted when they heard him talk that and agreed to his request wholeheartedly.
