After solving the problem with the nearby town, Ash asked what the young Absol was going to do.

Although it would be difficult, it would also be nice to have a younger Absol to train up.

But Absol refused to go with him for now as he still had a duty to this island.

Ash understood him and wished him good luck in his future endeavors.

————

"Lets get some training done, Vigoroth!"

This place known as Izabei Island was really too big for it's own sake. Just after crossing the steep foothills near Riyado Town, Ash and his party came to a snowfield tundra area.

The weather here was getting colder and colder, but Ash still threw out one of his Poké Ball.

Vigoroth as always was very energetic and ran into deeper into the woods as soon as he came out. The ice and snow environment was no problem for him.

In such an environment, there was a large chance to train Vigoroth properly on his timing and commands.

This was a Pokémon that was attracted by Ash's Trainer charm very much that he was willing to follow Ash anywhere he needed, but Ash needed to teleport him back shortly after he was caught, and their calls were also not that long. So this is a perfect opportunity to make that up and increase their shared Bond Value.

Additionally since he had been traveling across such a large island recently, he also exchanged him to have some gears and battles along the way to get him more experience and be able to train alone when needed to.

"Take this with you!" Ash threw over one of his Macho Braces over casually, and it immediately began to restrain Vigoroths quick movements. He instantly fell down, unable to move properly like his brain was commanding him to, and he was now just laying on the ground like a monkey on a net.

Ash just had a cold sweat helped him up and said, "This is a Macho Brace! Since Slowking told me that you are getting too restless in the Lab, I will use this to help you control all of that extra energy and in turn make you have a stronger body."

This Vigoroth was caught by him in the perfect place for all of those Slakoth. This one had a fighting will that was completely different from the rest of his ordinary species compatriot. After evolving, its compatibility with Ash was already very high, despite not even joining his team by then.

But since evolving and gaining an almost new kind of way of seeing things, this Vigoroth has been causing some trouble, although minor, in Professor Oak Laboratory.

Compared with the rest of Ash's past Pokémon's that sometimes caused troubles like his Kingler and Muk, this ones strength was still far from enough to warrant that, but he had already become the biggest troublemaker in the Lab despite getting many friendly beatings form Ash's older and stronger Pokémon's.

The Bond between Ash and his Slowking was as perfect as it could get. He can perfectly understand Ash's wishes and execute them just like Ash would have if he was there, well over 95% of the time. Many of Ash's past Pokémon's that were unwilling to evolve to their new form because of something from their past also completed their evolution under its persuasion, and even eventually completed their full and mastered Bonds Evolutions with him.

The perfect examples of this was his Bulbasaur and his Squirtle, although they first didn't want to evolve, after taking to Slowking and realizing Ash's love for them, they both chose to evolve and now the two were amongst some of the strongest in his team.

Even Ash's past Corphish, that restless and hyperactive child, was much more obedient in the Lab now, only the Lab tho. When he was with Ash on the other hand, even in his now much more stronger and scarier Crawdaunt form, he was still the same jumpy, happy, and hyperactive child that he always was. And this was something that Ash happily accepted, this was the perfect outcome in his opinion.

But Vigoroth was such a troublemaker that even if he is taught nicely by Slowking or suppressed by force by Snorlax or even Kingler and Venasaur, he still refuses to wear the Macho Brace, even if it caused him to be weaker in the long run.

But Ash didn't want his Pokémon to be weak just because sometimes they are just too active, so Ash called him him back to himself and decided to teach him just how important this simple but hard training was for his future.

After all, this was his future Slaking, the one that lazes around less and becomes more of a menace close to his Snorlax's level.

Ash had very high hopes for his future. Although Slaking has absolutely abysmal Truant Ability, if it can completely master his current ability to its absolute peak before evolving, he may be able to use his current ability without Trunat coming into play to make things worse, and if he really does complete his Bonds Evolutions, he may get some very useful and valuable abilities like many of his other Pokémon's got when they are in their strongest form. If that really did happen, he will at least become a pillar for Ash's future perfect 12-part team.

"Since you don't want to train with the others, then get ready for some even harder ones!" Ash showed a dark grin, and his Pikachu and cute Ralts on his shoulders also showed a very malicious looking smile in perfect sync with their Trainer.

Brock knew what Ash was planning and going to do, so he quickly pulled May and Max back before Ash or his Ralts needed to use their Psychic Powers to lightly lift them up and send team back.

"Ral lu!"

It was Ralts that took action this time.

The future Psychic Queen now had the courage and determination she needed to have. She disappeared in an instant and she teleported next to Vigoroth, who was restrained by the powerful force of the Macho Brace, with a beautiful pink light shining all over her petite body.

This was Psybeam, and Vigoroth has already realized that if he didn't do something, it will hurt like hell.

He quickly turned down and rolled on the snow, finally being able to avoid Ralts' attack on the last second. But when it looked up, that scary looking girl was no longer in front of him.

Instead, there was a fist as big as that scary Hitmonlees one, and it was getting bigger and bigger in front of him.

Boom!

Ash punched Vigoroth away, though not nearly in his full power as he didn't want to cause permanent damage to his own Pokémon, causing it to turn into a rolling gourd immediately, "Stand up, monkey! I said stand up!"

Without any more of his "heartwarming" preaching, Ash rushed over again, and that same fist shining with a blue light was about to hit him again.

"GEEHH!"

Vigoroth was finally angry to get back at Ash, despite still knowing that this was just hand-to-hand training with his Trainer. It had a bad temper, so how could it endure Ash's repeated taunts, not to mention Pikachu casually using the Taunt he learned from one of his friends, Annihilape, from the sideline.

It roared, stretched out its sharp claws and moved towards Ash.

It was the Normal-type attack, Slash!

Charizard back then learned how to use his Dragon Claw attack based on this move back then during the very early stages of Ash's Johto Journey, and almost injured Ash, but now Vigoroth was wearing a Macho Brace that made him less flexible than Charizard, not to mention he was also much much weaker. So right now, he wasn't even Ash's opponent, not to mention his other Pokémon's!

The agility and speed that he was always so proud of was greatly hindered. Ash easily avoided the furious claw that were trying their best to hit him while he was getting ready to set up another few punches. This time he used some of his Aura to power up his punch while he got into his stance, he jumped up and picked the ground next to his Vigoroth.

"Stand up, orangutan!"

There was no easy time in Ash's more serious trainings, everything was within his range, and this was one of the reasons his Pokémon's respected him so much.

"Ho! Ho! Ho!"

Vigoroth roared repeatedly while hitting his chest, and now he was different from before. He showed his most fierce look, and his fighting spirit was burning crazily. It wanted to prove itself again to its most respected Trainer, with its power, its power!

His arms were shining with a white light, this was one of the ultimate moves of yeh Fighting-type, Focus Punch!

All he did was focus on hitting hard, that's all that mattered to him.

This was a skill that can be easily interrupted by the skilled, but Ash and Ralts did not make any move to stop it, they were just waiting for him to increase his momentum to the limit, and then the Fighting-type type punch hit Ash squarely in the face! He did not even try to stop it.

"ASH!" May exclaimed, scared to see her lover being punched by his own Pokémon.

However, something impossible happened.

Ash did not even fall to his knees, he just turned his face to left.

Pikachu just told something to Brock and he took out a camera and began to take bunch of pictures.

[Title received: Aura Farmer!]

[Title received: Ash Catch-these-hands!]

Vigoroth's agile speed had been greatly suppressed, and his hand motion was almost like it was in slow motion.

All Ash needed to do was to slightly use some layers of his Aura Barrier on the place where he could see Vigoroth was bound to hit him.

After seeing her most loved person get hit, Ralts was pissed.

She used her Teleport to take him away. Vigoroth was vigorously trying to track where they were but couldn't seem to be able to track their scent.

In the next second, Ralts appeared in front of Vigoroth with the Ash again with her Teleport, and the same shining blue punch hit Vigoroth in the face again.

"Stand up, gorilla!"

Vigoroth jumped up this time after rolling for a few seconds. His body was very strong as he was a Pokémon, but he still didn't want to get hit by that same punch again. Ash's fist was not so easy to be able to react to, it was too damn fast. Who knew how many people got their faces beaten into a pillows by Ash's punch? But Vigoroth didn't appear to be injured at all, just looked hurt, not injured.

However, it had calmed down and no longer resisted the restraints that the Macho Brace placed on his body, standing straight in front of Ash like a soldier.

In the process of falling down and standing up again and again, Vigoroth had very quickly adapted to some of the restraints that the Macho Brace put upon him and now he felt that he was already making some progress in his speed and power.

"That's awesome. I knew Ash was very powerful, but I never expect Ash to be able to fight Pokémon like this while not being in his weird armor form." May was stunned to see just how strong her lover was without his Pokémon's.

She did however begin to imagine what this may imply for their private life and began to turn redder than a Tomato Berry.

"That's the Macho Brace created by Ash. Max, don't think about it too much, it will hurt your head if you try to figure out how he created them. And May, if by chance thang any of your current Pokémon's carry this item, I'm afraid that they won't even be able to move, but don't take that as an insult from me, it's just the cold truth."

Brock knows that one of the reasons why Ash's Pokémon can become so stronger and so quickly was because of how the Macho Brace works to strengthen their outer body and then slowly their inner muscles.

After taking back Vigoroth, Ash and his team quickly arrived at the Pokémon Center to escape from the blizzard that was supposed to begin soon.

But what almost no one noticed was that a little one wearing a bamboo hat looking thing had just witnessed the entire training process of Ash.

"Everyone, welcome!" This Nurse Joy was still as gentle as all the rest of her family was, "I believe you guys should have noticed that there will be a powerful blizzard happening here soon, you guys can enjoy a good rest here while all of that calm downs."

"I'll go through the harshest and the coldest winters if it means that we can be together, my dear!" Brock rushed over in an instant.

This time, before his famous Spinda can came out and do its job, Brock was stopped by an Icy Wind, which made his head frozen.

"Ohh?" Ash's eyes lit up when he saw the little guy.

May also took out her Pokémon Pokédex, "Snorunt, the Snow Hat Pokémon, mainly lives in places where it snows the often. Old folklore claims that a house visited by this little Pokémon is sure to prosper for many future generations to come."

"So turns out your name is Snorunt, you look so cute!"

Hearing May praise it, the childlike Pokémon also became very happy.

Nurse Joy bent down to greet it. She seemed to be quite familiar with it as well, "You came over to play again, I'm happy to see you as well."

It seems that Snorunt was a regular visitor of this Pokémon Center. Nurse Joy quickly gave the group an explanation. This one comes here as long as guests also come, so it will come over to play.

Unexpectedly, as soon as Nurse Joy finished speaking, Snorunt actually jumped up, and under the gaze of the three Pokémon Pikachu, Ralts, and Togetic, actually got its little hand on Ash's hat.
