Chapter 15 - CHAPTER 15 PLAYERS

ALERT: EXTREME TEMPORAL DISTURBANCE DETECTED.

HYPERDRIVE STRESSED

"Keep the hyperdrive at full capacity," Regillia ordered.

But something was wrong. She didn't realize it then, but it took her twenty full minutes to say those words. A creeping anomaly had slowed her speech, stretching each syllable across the gulf of time. The initial moments at the event horizon were the most dangerous part of the plan.

ANTIS responded instantly.

DELAY IN COMMAND DETECTED. INITIATING PRE-SET PROTOCOL: CENIPE PROTOCOL.

Regillia's protocol for this exact situation—which she had envisioned. She had many failsafe codes; this situation fit the use of the CENIPE Protocol.

Inside the core, the three elements stirred.

The artificial star core and the gravity core's energy started to flow into the third chamber. Two types of energy flowed through him, activating the perfect fragment in his existence. This was a very crude method of using the fragment.Eve was the one who is in control of the core and channeling the flow of energy and achieving this time manipulation and stabilization of the station at the horizon of the blackhole.

The core lit up.

Power surged between the artificial sun and gravity core, radiating out in bands of impossible color—light that bent memory, that warped causality. Regillia's and Eva theory had proven true

CORE ACTIVATED. TIME DILATION AMPLIFIED. RATIO: 1 YEAR OUTSIDE = 100 YEARS INSIDE.

Regillia blinked. "Is everything operational?"

YES. SUCCESS PROBABILITY WAS 80%. WE HAVE EXCEEDED IT.

"How's the livestock?"

OVER 600,000 LIFEFORMS IN STASIS. STABLE.

"Phew. Without them, this would've all been meaningless."

She turned to the massive stasis vault embedded deep within the Oblivion Archive.

Ten samples from every intelligent species she had ever encountered—ranging from low 3-dimensional cultivators to those touching the edge of the 3.5th. Two individuals per dimension, per species. A genetic, energetic, and spiritual library of the cosmos.

Fifty thousand baseline humans as well.

650,000 lives. Each selected. Each necessary.

And with that… her true work began.

Her isolation would stretch for centuries in external time—but within the lab, she had ten thousand years. Time enough to develop techniques that had never been dreamed. To birth methods, rewrite cultivation paths, and build new branches of reality itself.

This was her new cultivation ground.

This was the beginning of her own way.

DECADES EARLIER...JUST AFTER THE BIRTH OF REGILLIA

Far away, in a lower-dimensional sector called Kya, an asteroid belt drifted in lazy orbits around a silent, lifeless planet.

Until suddenly, silence shattered.

A monstrous creature—ten kilometers in length—crashed through the upper atmosphere like a god's fallen sword. Its body tore through the clouds, its mass trembling with pressure. And then it vanished from its enemies' eyes. The 10 km dragon entered his humanoid form.

Above, another titan hovered in pursuit. Its wings curled like thunderclouds, its chest heaving with fury.

Then it saw the light. It came from the planet—the colossal beast knew it was from the enemy.

A glowing spark—bright, fast, and beautiful—charged toward it with impossible precision.

"Shit—!"

The second creature tried to dodge, but suddenly he froze. His soul body and energy started to vibrate.

The beam struck him cleanly. A roar echoed across the stars. The asteroid belt, caught in the path of the attack, disintegrated. Every asteroid touched by the light incinerated instantly. But as the debris faded, something was revealed—a bead the size of a human head, glowing with an intense, pure white light, located where the asteroid belt had been.

It was possible that this bead had been sealed inside one of the asteroids, hidden until now. With the destruction of its shell, the sphere had been exposed—radiant, dangerous, undeniable.

Both the attacker and the one who received the attack froze, staring at the object.

The dragon who released the beam was named Veklumb, a Royal Commander of the ancient Terra species. The one he struck was Seliburn, a deserter.

Both were 3.8-dimensional cultivators—beings at the Nascent level.

Veklumb had been escorting precious cargo for the Royal Dragon Palace just a few thousand light-years away only three seconds earlier. That's when the ambush came. A group from ARKA NEXUS—an infamous organization of pirates and rogue cultivators—struck.

ARKA NEXUS was a major force in the lower dimensions, composed of individuals who belonged to no race, no council—traitors, outlaws, and those who had rejected the racial councils' rule. They lived only for power and chaos.

The attackers this time were a pirate group named Borolis, part of the Nexus. Their target: the materials contained within Commander Veklumb's space ring. Leading the assault was a deserter from the Ancient Terra species itself.

Now, facing each other, Veklumb and Seliburn stopped their attacks.

Both could feel it—their soul bodies, their energy frequencies—vibrating wildly. And the vibration was only increasing.

Their gazes locked onto the pure white sphere suspended between them. Their expressions were grim. Terrified.

Sensing a trap, the pirate who was a deserter of the Ancient Terra species panicked. He took out a stone and shattered it.

Instantly, a portal opened behind him. He lunged into it—desperate to escape.

But just as his upper body entered, the portal collapsed without warning.

What remained was only the severed lower half of his body, drifting in space.

Watching this, Commander Veklumb was horrified. A Nascent Realm cultivator had died as easily as an insect. To reach such a realm required enormous resources, countless years of effort. And yet—he was erased like nothing.

The feeling of doom did not leave Veklumb.

It only worsened.

As he stared at the white sphere, still in his humanoid form, another impossible event unfolded.

A gigantic creature exited hyperspace for a mere 0.0000001 seconds—an ancient beast of unimaginable speed. It swallowed the white sphere whole, then immediately re-entered hyperdrive, vanishing without a trace.

Veklumb couldn't believe it.

His mind reeled.

The creature that appeared was The Peregrine—the fastest living being known to exist across the entire universe. The hyperdrive technology was created using The Peregrine as a base.

{AN: These people don't know about upper dimensions, so they believe the lower dimension is the whole universe. People who know ,do not disclose this information to others.}

What was that sphere? How did a Nascent Realm cultivator die so easily?

These questions burned through his mind.

But before he could react, gravity took hold. His body was paralyzed.

His exhausted body fell from the upper atmosphere, spiraling toward the planet. He couldn't control his descent.

The atmosphere ignited around him. Flames consumed his battered form.

Moments later, he crashed into the surface with a force that carved a crater one thousand kilometers wide into the rocky continent.

Broken, burned, and stunned, he lay silent on the shattered earth.

It took him an entire day to recover enough strength to move.

Only then, as his body trembled and his mind cleared, did the truth settle into his bones:

"That was The Peregrine... the fastest creature in the known universe..."

"But what was that sphere? And how could that pirate die? he should be able to dodge my attack unless my attack destroyed the astroid first and released the sphere, the moment the sphere came out both of us froze, that should have made him panic and believed it was a trap"

The universe had shifted.

And somewhere, the true game had begun.

The birth of Regillia Aurelius Ebonharth has shifted the balance of the lower dimensions, causing previously sealed eggs and ancient methods to awaken, marking the beginning of a new era.The unsealing of these being were orchestrated by a being far beyond what these 3 dimensional minds could even fathom.
