Chapter 121 - Kieran's Sudden Attack

Chapter One Hundred-Twenty-One:

Present…

"No, don't lie because we heard it all from 'The Joker'." I said and added. "Why did you need to change the history?"

It took long before Brennan answered. "We really don't have a choice but to alter what is the truth." He finally confessed though it isn't enough.

"Why do you need to do that? Don't you know that because of the 'Maiden's Grail' you told us, my brother became too obsessed about it and was so eager to find the one who possesses that blood!" I madly stated. "Then now, you're just going to say that you have no choice?! What a nonsense reason!"

"Nonsense?!" suddenly Brennan's voice gets louder. "You don't know what you're saying, Prince Kieran! Because you don't know what happened before! Know nothing about the sacrifice we had made just so everyone can all enjoy the peace we have now! And now you were telling me it was nonsense?! You know nothing at all, Prince Kieran!"

"Then, explain it to us! What happened before?! Why do you need to alter the history? Why?!" I madly asked as I fiercely stare towards him.

Brennan closes his eyes as he takes a deep breath and then, as he opens his eyes, he looks at me emotionless and said. "Whatever 'The Joker' told you––"

"Is the truth," I said cutting him off. "Then, who among us the one that can bring the destruction he was telling to us? Me or my brother?" I seriously asked.

"We… still don't know." He said but for some reason I feel like he was hiding something.

"I think you already knew who it was. So tell me! Who?" Brennan eyes suddenly became unsteady that made my suspicion true and I'm sure he will again hide it no matter what. Thinking of it, I lost my temper and grab him to his collar and forcely push him through the wall.

"What the f@ck… Prince Kieran!" he shouted as I grab him firmly.

"Damn it, talk!" I firmly ordered in a low tone. "And don't you ever try to hide the truth or I will end your life." I seriously added as my eye's changes into golden orange.

"Are you serious?! Let go of me! Do you even know––"

"I know." I calmly answered though for some reason I don't know why I do feel like I am not myself anymore. I feel like there is something deep within me that I cannot manifest what it is. I just let whatever it is to take control of me. "So, if you don't want to die then, tell me what are you hiding?"

"Ahh!" he tried to free himself out of my grip but he couldn't do anything I just firmly hold him so tight and as long as I am holding him my senses slowly begins to numb and my sight begins to blur until…

"Iman, I heard that Elder Brennan was here." I said as soon as I came from finding the one that 'The Joker' told us.

"Yes, there were at the study room." He answered.

"That will be great, I head there. Let's go Mond." I decided and went to see Brennan but as soon as we reach the study room suddenly, we all heard a commotion. "What was that?" I surprisingly asked.

"I'll go first to check on it." Iman said while Redmond went at my front to protect me if there's any danger.

Iman slowly opened the door to the study room and when he finally opened the door he immediately rushed inside to my surprise. However, he was suddenly flown back at the door indicating that whoever was in inside is stronger than him.

"Prince Kanik we should--"

Remond was about to say 'run' just to keep me safe and yet I can't because I wanted to find who did that to Iman. But to my surprised I saw Kieran holding Brennan against the wall and he seems kind of off that scared me yet, I rush to his side to stop him before he can kill him.

"Kieran, what are you doing? Stop it!" I shouted as I try to pull him out from Brennan but to my surprised he was too strong I can't pull him, and then he suddenly stares at me with those odd eyes. I have never seen that kind of eyes before and it puzzles me. "Ki-Kieran?" and before I could even ask, he suddenly grabs me and throw me away from him.

"Prince Kanik!" Redmond immediately runs towards me to catch me before I landed through the wall.

"Ahhh!" we both groan as I landed to Redmond.

"Prince Kanik, are you alright?" Redmond quickly asked me afterwards.

"Ye-yes. But…" I stare back to Kieran and we saw that Brennan was trying his best to free himself from my brother's grip. "We need to help Elder Brennan before Kieran kill him."

"Yes." He answered however Iman suddenly blocks his way and said.

"He's too strong, you cannot handle him alone."

"Then, help us to stop my brother." I commanded.

"Yes, Prince Kanik." He agreed. "Redmond and I will take care of him and you will take care of Elder Brennan."

"Alright, let's do it."

Iman and Redmond immediately rushed to stop Kieran while I waited for the right opportunity to save Brennan. Though it took them long before they could hold on to Kieran and when I saw an open, I rush in to save Brennan and took him out of that place.

"Stay here for a while." I said to Brennan and left him to go back inside, but to my surprised Kieran already holding the two with his bare hands. "Damn it, Kieran!" I shouted that he fiercely glares at me. "Release them now!" I ordered but he just thrown the two at the wall before he attacks me. "Ahhh!" I screamed in pain after pushing me so hard at the wall that made me to throw up blood. "Kie-Kieran! What's wrong with you?"
