Chapter 330 - Chapter 328 : Quill of Alzuhod!!

The humanoid figure shrouded in a hazy, illusory glow sat regally on a bronze chair seemingly forged for giants.

Lü Mingfei, mustering his courage, carefully observed the figure before him.

The being appeared to be an amalgamation of countless forms of life, its hazy and ethereal light flickering with countless faces. An inexplicable aura of strangeness radiated from it, and its pale golden vertical pupils resembled a tranquil lake.

Deep within, countless swirling vortices reflected, threatening to pull anyone gazing into them into an abyss.

As Lü Mingfei delved deeper, it felt as if he was falling into an endless chasm, his very soul sinking slowly into oblivion.

Suddenly, a young, tender voice roared like thunder within his consciousness, its explosive force dragging him back to reality from the depths of the "vortex."

"Don't look into its eyes, brother!"

It was Lü Mingze, who had immediately noticed his brother's abnormal state and used his Word Spirit to awaken him.

"Huh? Just now... I really felt like I was being sucked in!" Lü Mingfei, now fully alert, broke out in cold sweat, feeling as though he had narrowly escaped death. He wiped his forehead, relieved. "That was close. I almost died. You saved me big time, Lü Mingze."

"Stand behind me, brother," Lü Mingze said as he stepped forward, shielding Lü Mingfei with an air of authority.

Though he wasn't tall—barely over 1.6 meters due to his childlike appearance—at this moment, he seemed towering in Lü Mingfei's eyes.

A dependable... minor!

As Lü Mingfei felt a surge of emotion, Lü Mingze seemed to shed his youthful façade entirely, his demeanor transforming drastically.

Savage and fierce, he exuded an aura of primordial ferocity, like an ancient dragon awakened from slumber. He danced through dark clouds, unleashing an overwhelming, suffocating pressure.

His eyes gleamed with a molten gold intensity as they clashed boldly with the mysterious figure's gaze. "You must be the master of this dreamscape."

To Lü Mingfei, Lü Mingze had always been an occasionally eccentric little devil.

But only now did Lü Mingfei realize, with a delayed shock, that this was no longer the playful trickster he knew. This was an unstoppable force radiating dominance.

"Welcome, you two, to my Divine Kingdom," Uchiha Sōgetsu spoke in a calm, gentle tone. His voice carried an air of warmth. "I imagine you both have many questions in your hearts, don't you?"

"Are you talking about the person who dragged us here in the middle of the night and is now acting all mysterious?" Lu Mingze sneered.

For some reason, he really hated this person. It was an inexplicable feeling of aversion, like his soul was instinctively rejecting them.

Lu Mingfei shrank his neck, deciding to play dead. After all, in this situation, no matter how you looked at it, it didn't seem like someone like him, a 'loser,' should be speaking up.

"I forgot to introduce myself. You can call me 'Adam.'"

Uchiha Sogetsu, still wearing a disguise, spoke calmly and indifferently, letting out a slight laugh. "First of all, I need to clarify something. I'm just as surprised as you two to see you here. Secondly, the reason you two have entered my Divine Kingdom isn't really because of me."

"Ridiculous. If it wasn't you, was it me?"

Lu Mingze stared at the figure above them, speaking disdainfully. "Are you telling me that we barged into your Divine Kingdom without permission, and you didn't know about it? Is that what you're saying?"

Lu Mingfei instinctively nodded in agreement. Yeah, could it be that they had intentionally barged in?

"You must have seen that notebook, right?"

Uchiha Sogetsu's gaze was clear and calm. He let out a small laugh, tapping his fingers lightly on the bronze table. "Technically speaking, the contents inside shouldn't have been something you were allowed to see."

"Seen it. So what now? Are you going to silence us?"

Lu Mingze put his hands in his pockets, his gaze cold. "You don't seriously think that just making up some random story will fool us, do you?"

"Stories... depend on the person."

Uchiha Sogetsu said lightly. "As for whether it's true or not, you should already know in your heart."

Lu Mingze's eyes shifted slightly, and for a moment, he couldn't find the words to respond.

Actually, deep down, he was already about 70-80% sure that the content of that 'Dragon Clan' notebook was undoubtedly about Lu Mingfei's future.

He understood his "brother" too well. On the surface, he seemed weak, but deep down, he had the heart of a lion.

But more importantly, the awakening of the King of Bronze and the King of Fire had happened recently, and with the upcoming arrival of Cassell College, everything seemed to be unfolding just as it was written in the "notes."

"Now, I'll answer the first question."

Uchiha Sogetsu flicked the cover of the notebook, picked up the feather pen stuck in the spine of the book, and smiled, "The one who dragged you into my Divine Kingdom, the 'culprit,' is this guy."

Was that just an ordinary feather pen?

Lu Mingfei and Lu Mingze's attention was instantly drawn to it, but no matter how they looked at it, it appeared to be a very ordinary feather pen.

Lu Mingze suddenly got irritated and glared fiercely, "You're trying to fool us with a broken feather pen?"

"This is no broken pen. Its name is the 'Quill of Alzuhod.'"

Uchiha Sogetsu held the feather pen, spinning it between his fingers, and said lightly, "It was formed from the posthumous traits of the 'Dragon of Nightmare Alzuhod,' so in a sense, it still retains a fragment of consciousness. It's a 'sealed item' that requires strict supervision."

"Dragon of Nightmare, Alzuhod."

Lu Mingze furrowed his brow, feeling unfamiliar with the name, "Why haven't I ever heard of this name?"

"Uh, I'm curious, why does a pen need to be so carefully watched?" Lu Mingfei scratched his head and asked, clearly more interested in this matter.

"You saw the reason for the seal just now, didn't you?"

Uchiha Sogetsu gazed at them meaningfully, as if hinting at something.

Before Lu Mingfei could react, Lu Mingze seemed to have figured it out. His pupils contracted slightly as if he had guessed something, "That notebook?!"

"The Quill of Alzuhod is most dangerous because any story it writes will eventually become reality." Uchiha Sogetsu stopped spinning the pen and said with deep meaning, "As for the 'Dragon Clan' story, although it originated from Alzuhod, I wasn't the one who wrote it."

Hey, hey, hey, is this a joke?

A worn-out feather pen like that could decide their future?

Lu Mingze found it absurd. The whole worldview felt like it was about to collapse. So, it turned out that the future of him and his brother was just a "story" written by someone else?

Even though reason told him that a pen couldn't decide the future, and they weren't characters in someone else's story…

But the glimpse of the notebook earlier had shaken his steadfast heart.

"Not long ago, I retrieved the Quill of Alzuhod from the previous holder."

Seeing the timing was right, Uchiha Sogetsu sighed and said, "I had planned to reseal it, but this guy was not obedient. Behind my back, he secretly pulled you into the Divine Kingdom and tried to let you steal it from me when I wasn't paying attention."

Lu Mingze was silent for two seconds before looking into 'Adam's' clear golden eyes and asking, "So, was the outcome for me and my brother already decided?"

Uchiha Sogetsu calmly replied, "The stories written by the Quill of Alzuhod... will inevitably become reality."
