Blasting another troll with a wave of gravity, Rio scowled even further. There were far more of these demi-humans than she had anticipated, and to make matters worse they were far stronger than she had accounted for. The only silver lining was that while Colwyn was dealing with the prince, she could steadily clean up the rest of them.

She didn't like this strategy, especially as she watched her precious friend get tossed around in her peripheral vision, but there was no other option. Rio just prayed that she could finish the trolls in time to come to Colwyn's aid.

The prince must've sensed it too. His steps slowed. Cautious. He raised Bloodhymn again, but this time, there was little smugness. Instead it was replaced with something akin to respect.

"I know now," he said in broken common. "You are no mere knight. Tell me, warrior, what is your name?"
