He clearly saw as the roots of the giant tree beside him pulsed faintly with natural energy, but that wasn't what drew Emrys's attention.
His gaze drifted lower.
Nearly twenty thousand meters deep beneath the garden, there was a strange circular formation inscribed into the bedrock. It was ancient, cracked, and incomplete. But despite its broken appearance, Emrys can clearly tell the formation on the bedrock was still active. He could see and sense faint pulses of energy resonating from it in rhythmic patterns.
Because Emrys was observing it from a god-like perspective, he could sense that it was responding to someone.
