Players have shallow desires and lack adaptability to Elemental Power. Advancing to silver wasn't difficult, but hardly anyone possessed the adaptability to reach Gold level.
Annan had planned to wait until this event was over before returning to Winter to help the players defeat a few demons from The Void World and advance them in rank.
