Vinnandra groaned as pain shot through every part of her body. It felt as though she paralyzed from head to toe.
It was hard to pinpoint the particular source of her pain from the fall, but she supposed she should be grateful that the elevation she had fallen from hadn't been that high.
It didn't make it any less painful though and she groaned, attempting to pry herself off the ground.
That was when she realized that amongst the pain she couldn't pinpoint was the glaring fact that she had further sprained the same shoulder she earlier bruised. And her attempt at supporting herself to stand upright with the bad hand meant that a sharp pain shot through her body, impossibly straight to her brain until she keeled over, gasping from the severe pain.
She knew she should have tended to her shoulder after she had fallen from Zalreth's back initially. But between everything that happened, she didn't have the time to think about it.
And now, it had only gotten worse.
