A survivor base with 800,000 people?
Wang Tao was very surprised; he had originally thought it was a medium-sized base with a few tens of thousands of people at most but had not expected it to be a mega survivor base with 800,000 inhabitants!
This was definitely a pleasant surprise, as the more survivors there are, the better it was certainly for the entire Human Faction.
As for the claims by Red Maple Base that "their base is the only human settlement in the world, and their residents are the last remaining humans on Earth," it's understandable. One reason is to foster a sense of preciousness about their base, and another is that they indeed haven't discovered any other Survivor Bases. Just like Wang Tao, who initially suspected that he might be the last human left alive in the world...
