The night had fallen softly over the village.
A cool breeze brushed against the grass as Irish sat outside, trying to cook some potatoes over a small fire in front of their new house. The smell of the earth and smoke filled the air.
Scarlett sat nearby, her legs tucked close to her chest, feeling the calmness of the peaceful night. It wasn't awkward at all. In fact, it felt warm and comfortable, like a rare moment of quiet happiness.
The crackling of the fire, the soft chirping of crickets, and the smell of burning wood made everything feel safe.
But peace never stayed long in Scarlett's life.
As they sat quietly, a sudden bright light flashed in the sky. The ground and trees around them turned yellow and orange under the glowing light.
"Huh? It's morning already?" Irish muttered, blinking and looking up.
But as her gaze went up, her heart skipping a beat.
Her sharp eyes caught it instantly. "No... that's not the sun. It's a meteoroid!" she said, standing up quickly.
Her chest tightened.
A meteoroid? Out of nowhere? Without any warning? It didn't make sense. Something was wrong.
And then they saw him.
A man floating in the sky, his whole body wrapped in fierce flames.
"Meteoroid Summon!" the man shouted, his voice booming like thunder. He waved his burning hand in Scarlett's direction.
"Go!" he commanded.
Scarlett gritted her teeth, ready to react.
"What are we gonna do—" Irish started to say, but before she could finish, a dark shadow moved under Scarlett's feet.
In the blink of an eye, an assassin jumped out from the ground, holding a sharp katana, its blade catching the fire's light.
It was Arthur.
He smiled widely, a crazed look in his eyes. "Gotcha!" he said, rushing toward Scarlett.
But then—
"Too slow!" Scarlett snapped.
With a sharp movement, she swung her palm upward and slammed it into Arthur's jaw.
There was a horrible cracking sound.
Arthur's skull shattered instantly. His body went limp and collapsed to the ground.
He was dead before he even touched the earth.
A glowing light covered his body.
The blessing activated, pulling Arthur's soul back in time once again.
He wasn't ready to give up.
This time, he decided to bring even more people with him.
---
Night came again.
The meteoroid was summoned once more, burning across the sky like a falling star.
But this time... it wasn't the only thing.
On the road ahead, a small boy was lying on the ground.
He had fallen and scraped his knees. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he cried loudly, calling for his mother.
"Mama... My knees hurt!" he sobbed, his little hands grabbing the dirt.
"I'll stop the meteoroid!" Scarlett said quickly, stepping forward.
But Irish stopped her, grabbing her arm tightly.
"No!" Irish said sharply. "If you destroy it, the shockwave alone will blow this kid's ears apart!"
Scarlett hesitated. She bit her lip, her heart racing.
She looked at the child again.
"Then just take him out of the village for a bit!" Scarlett said, rushing over to the boy.
She crouched down in front of him, her voice soft and warm.
"Stop crying, okay? I'll take you to your mother. You'll be safe," she said gently, reaching out her hand to him.
The little boy sniffled, rubbing his teary eyes.
But then... he suddenly stopped crying.
A wicked smile spread across his tiny face.
"No need," he said in a creepy, mocking voice.
Before Scarlett could react, he pulled out a gun from under his clothes, moving much faster than any normal child.
"Ultimate Bullets!" the boy shouted, aiming straight at Scarlett.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
The loud gunshots echoed through the quiet village.
The little boy, who was actually a grown up man in disguise, fired the special bullets without stopping.
Each bullet was glowing and buzzing with power, far stronger than any normal bullet.
At the same time, several people appeared out of nowhere, teleporting around Scarlett like ghosts.
Everything happened so fast that Irish couldn't even move, her mouth half-open in shock.
"Dark Prison!"
A female mage pointed her shining wand at Scarlett, her voice ringing sharply in the night.
The ground under Scarlett's feet cracked open, and black chains shot up, wrapping tightly around her body.
They coiled like living snakes, trying to trap her completely.
"Space Binding Vacuum!"
Another mage shouted, waving his hands quickly.
A strange invisible wall closed around Scarlett.
It felt heavy, pressing down like a mountain, trying to crush her movements.
It all happened in less than a second.
Irish could only watch, frozen, as Scarlett was trapped.
Then, out of thin air, Arthur appeared, his katana raised high above his head.
His face twisted with excitement and hatred.
"This time for sure!" he shouted.
He swung down with all his strength.
Swish—
The blade sliced through the air, aiming straight for Scarlett.
But—
Clank!
The katana shattered into pieces the moment it touched Scarlett's body.
The broken metal flew into the air like glittering sparks.
Arthur stared in shock.
"It broke?" he whispered, his eyes wide, disbelief all over his face.
Before he could even move—
BAM!
Scarlett, with a calm but cold face, broke through the dark chains like they were made of paper.
She stepped forward and punched Arthur directly in the face.
The force was so strong that his skull shattered, and his body flew backward like a rag doll.
The blessing activated again.
Arthur's body disappeared in a flash of light.
And he woke up again...
Back in time.
He died.
And died again.
And again.
And again.
No matter what he tried, no matter how much he prepared, it always ended the same way.
After hundreds of painful and hopeless tries, Arthur finally understood something important.
Scheming, planning, sneaking around—it was all useless.
Scarlett wasn't someone he could beat with tricks.
His hands shook slightly as he gritted his teeth, looking at the empty sky.
"I'll bring everyone at once," he muttered.
This time, he went even further back in time.
He searched, he fought, he begged—anything to gather strong people who could help him.
One by one, he built a team.
The strongest, the fastest, the smartest he could find.
"This time, I'll write down every pattern," he told himself, his eyes burning with a stubborn light.
He wouldn't give up.
Not until Scarlett fell.
No matter how long it took.
-------------------------
The night was calm once again.
Scarlett was sitting quietly beside Irish, enjoying the cool air and the soft crackling sound from the fire.
But far away, hidden in the darkness, Arthur was gathering his team.
He was determined more than ever.
He stood among them, giving out orders like a general before a big battle.
"Cast the stealth effect," Arthur said sharply.
A man lying on the ground, breathing heavily, wiped the sweat from his forehead.
"I-I did it," he panted. "I used all my mana... I can't be of any use after this."
Arthur gave a small nod. "Good. You did enough."
Then he turned toward a middle-aged man wearing a simple shirt and pants.
The man stood up slowly, stretching his arms a bit.
"Zeld, you can transform now," Arthur said.
Without a word, Zeld's body began to change.
His bones cracked softly as he shrank down, becoming smaller and smaller until he looked just like a little boy.
Arthur smiled a little. "Nice."
"Why am I transforming into a little kid not a monster? Or some animal?", Zeld questioned although his voice changed because of transformation.
"Because from what I know, Although she although have no interest in doing good deeds but if she can somehow help someone then she tries to do it, but provoking her by taking a monster appearance or cute puppy won't work, She have no interest in animals, We can't take female either or else Irish will act first and kill you for no reason at all..",
"And most important thing , I need to make an confusing environment, Where Evrything will be happening too sudden and for no reason!", Arthur explain
Zeld had a very complicated expression after hearing Arthur's explanation,",Umm...What? This all doesn't make any sense?",
But Arthur only smiled,"That's what I want, Nothing should make sense and be predictable, Make her confusion that who is she fighting with, why is she even fighting? Make her hesitate, Even if it's a little, So that she goes easy on us.. Everyone is allowed to trash talk too",
His eyes then moved to a teenage girl standing quietly nearby.
She wore a cute frock that swayed slightly in the breeze.
Even though she looked like a teenager, Arthur knew she was over thirty years old—a dangerous woman hidden behind a young face.
"The teleportation spell... is it ready?" he asked.
The girl didn't speak. She only nodded once, her long eyelashes fluttering as she lowered her eyes.
Arthur watched her for a moment before nodding back.
"Good," he said firmly, feeling his heart pounding in his chest.
He looked at all of them, his hands clenched tightly into fists.
"Now... start the plan," he said, his voice low but filled with strong determination.
--------------------
"Ouch... My knee burst!"
A boy suddenly fell down on the stone pathway outside Scarlett's house, clutching his knee and groaning in pain.
Irish, who had been sitting near the campfire heard the noise and quickly turned her head.
"Huh? What's a kid doing here at this hour?" she muttered in confusion.
It was very late at night. The whole area was quiet, not a single soul around.
Why would a child be out here, alone, and hurt?
But before she could even move—
Out of nowhere, a man appeared, his face hidden under a mask.
He rested the sharp edge of his katana against the boy's neck.
His voice was cold and threatening.
"Don't come any closer or I'll kill this kid!" he barked.
"You—!"
Irish's heart jumped. Without thinking twice, she rushed forward, her instincts kicking in.
"Release the child!" she yelled, her fists clenching.
Just as she dashed out of the gate—
"Teleport!"
A teenage girl suddenly popped out from the shadows, her hands glowing with magic.
Before Irish could react, a strange force wrapped around her body and—
Whoosh!
Irish disappeared in a flash of light, teleported far away from the scene.
"Irish!" Scarlett screamed, her chest tightening.
Everything was happening too fast.
Who were these people? What was going on?
But there was no time to think.
"Dark Prison!"
"Space Binding Vacuum!"
Two girls who looked almost like twins pointed their wands at Scarlett.
The ground cracked open.
Dark chains burst out and wrapped around her.
An invisible, heavy wall formed around her too, trapping her in place.
Meanwhile, Arthur, who had been pretending to be the cruel assassin threatening the boy, was breathing hard.
His heartbeat thudded loudly in his ears.
"Sasha needs ten seconds... Just ten seconds for another teleport!" he thought desperately.
Every second felt like a hundred years.
Behind him, a group of strange people wearing creepy cult robes and masks made of human skulls were chanting loudly.
They were from a dangerous criminal group called "The Occult."
Arthur had somehow managed to convince them to help, even though it had cost him a lot.
"Status Boost! Strength Boost! Magic Boost! Greater Magic Boost! Ultimate Buff!"
Their voices echoed through the night, as powerful magic filled the air.
The air shimmered. The twin girls, Luna and Sona, who were trapping Scarlett, grew even stronger.
They were famous for trapping monsters.
But even after all the buffs, Scarlett only seemed slightly bothered.
And even then, she barely tried to escape.
It had only been four seconds.
They needed ten.
Arthur gritted his teeth.
"It's up to me now!" he thought, feeling both fear and determination burning inside.
He dropped the act immediately and rushed toward Scarlett.
"So you wanna die first?" Scarlett growled, her voice cold like ice.
Arthur felt a chill run down his spine but forced himself to stay focused.
"First will be a jab!" he told himself.
Scarlett's fist came flying toward him with unbelievable speed.
He twisted his body desperately and barely dodged it, feeling the air slice past his face.
"Now it's a hook!" he thought, and sure enough, Scarlett swung her arm sideways.
He ducked just in time, sliding sideways on the ground.
"She'll appear behind me next!" he guessed, trusting the pattern he had memorized from hundreds of deaths.
Scarlett flashed behind him like a ghost, her foot swinging for his head.
Arthur immediately dropped to the ground, narrowly avoiding the deadly kick.
Dust flew up around him.
"NOWWWW! SASHA!!!" he screamed at the top of his lungs, his voice almost breaking.
He ran with all his strength, creating distance between himself and Scarlett.
Up in the air, floating like a bright star in the dark sky, was Sasha.
Her long frock fluttered with the wind as she pointed her glowing wand straight at Scarlett.
"Teleport!"
