The night sky over Konoha was shrouded in clouds, with only the faintest slivers of moonlight piercing through. The village was quiet, its inhabitants tucked away in their homes, blissfully unaware of the silent storm unfolding in the shadows.
Naruto moved like a shadow, his presence an invisible whisper through the grand halls of the Hyuga compound. The air was heavy with the weight of tradition and pride, a suffocating aura that had persisted for generations. Draped in a dark robe and concealed by a featureless mask, he was untraceable, a predator stalking his prey.
His steps were silent, his movements fluid, and his chakra suppressed so thoroughly that not even the most skilled sensors could detect him.
Inside the compound, he stood for a moment, letting his Haki expand outward like a pulse. The invisible wave of energy swept through the Hyuga estate, feeding him precise information about the occupants. His senses honed in on his targetsâseveral elders gathered in a secluded section of the compound, likely discussing matters of clan politics and control.
Naruto's eyes narrowed behind his mask. They're exactly as I thought. Old, bitter souls clinging to power, suffocating the younger generation with their outdated ideals.
He infiltrated their meeting chamber effortlessly, slipping through the corridors like a shadow. The room was dimly lit, with the elders seated in a circle, their voices hushed but sharp.
"These changes are unacceptable," One of the elders hissed, his wrinkled face twisted with disdain. "The younger generation grows too bold, questioning the traditions that have governed us for centuries. Discipline must be enforced."
Another elder leaned forward, his voice equally venomous. "The branch family's resentment is growing. If we do not remind them of their place, there will be chaos. Weakness cannot be allowed to take root."
Naruto stood silently in the shadows, his body tense but his breathing calm. Their words confirmed what he already knewâthese men were the architects of the Hyuga Clan's oppression. They had turned their own kin into prisoners, shackled by an outdated and unjust system.
You've ruled long enough, Naruto thought coldly, his grip tightening around the hilt of his blade.
His resolve unwavering, Naruto moved.
The first elder didn't even have time to react. In a blur of motion, Naruto appeared behind him, his blade glinting briefly in the faint light before slashing across the man's throat. Blood sprayed from the wound, splattering the table and floor as the elder gurgled, his eyes wide with shock. He collapsed forward onto the table, lifeless.
"Whatâ?!" Another elder began to shout, but Naruto's blade found him before the words could fully leave his lips. The knife plunged into the man's chest with a sickening crunch, twisting as Naruto yanked it free. Blood gushed from the wound, staining the elder's robes as he slumped back in his chair.
Panic erupted in the room, but Naruto was faster. He moved with precision, his blade a blur as it tore through flesh and bone. One elder attempted to rise and activate his Byakugan, but Naruto's knife sliced cleanly through his throat, silencing him before the technique could manifest.
Another elder screamed, stumbling backward in an attempt to flee. Naruto's eyes narrowed beneath his mask as he hurled a kunai with deadly accuracy. The weapon struck the man's forehead, embedding itself deep as his body crumpled to the floor.
The room was a cacophony of gasps, gurgles, and the wet sound of blood pooling on the polished wooden floor. Naruto's movements were methodical, his strikes unrelenting. He gave them no opportunity to fight back, no chance to plead for their lives.
One of the elders, a woman with a cruel smile etched permanently on her face, tried to crawl away, her hands slipping in the blood of her fallen peers.
Naruto loomed over her, his blade glinting ominously as he crouched down.
"Do you understand why this is happening?" Ge asked, his voice low and venomous.
The woman trembled, her Byakugan activating instinctively. "Y-You⌠you'll ruin the Hyuga ClanâŚ"
Naruto tilted his head slightly, his masked face unreadable. "No. I'm saving it."
Without another word, he drove the blade into her heart, watching as her body went limp beneath him.
When the last elder fell, the room descended into a deafening silence, broken only by the soft dripping of blood onto the floor. The once-pristine chamber was now a scene of carnage, the table and walls stained with crimson, and the air thick with the metallic tang of death.
Naruto stood amidst the slaughter, his breathing steady despite the chaos around him. He glanced down at the lifeless bodies, his voice barely above a whisper. "The Hyuga Clan deserves better than you."
Before leaving, Naruto ensured that every trace of his presence was erased. He carefully retrieved his knife, wiped his blade clean, and stepped silently out of the chamber.
By the time the first Hyuga members discovered the bodies, he would be long gone, a phantom in the night.
Naruto's next target was one closer to homeâthe Sarutobi Clan.
As he moved through the compound, memories of Hiruzen's actions weighed heavily on his mind. The Sarutobi elders, like their leader, had orchestrated countless injustices in the name of preserving their clan's dominance. They had conspired to weaken the other clans, cementing the Sarutobi's position as one of the most powerful families in Konoha.
Naruto's Haki once again guided him, revealing the locations of the elders. He slipped into their chambers one by one, his blade finding its mark with chilling efficiency.
Unlike the Hyuga elders, some of the Sarutobi elders were not entirely corrupt. Naruto spared those whose hearts were untainted, his Haki revealing their sincerity and dedication to the village. But the othersâthose who clung to their power and used it to oppress othersâwere dealt with swiftly.
As he stood over the last of his targets, Naruto whispered, "Hiruzen may have escaped this world, but your influence ends tonight."
Naruto continued his silent hunt, moving through the compounds of various clansâIno-Shika-Cho, Aburame, Akimichi, and more. With each step, he struck down the corrupt and power-hungry elders, leaving behind a trail of bodies but no evidence of his identity.
The elders' deaths sent a ripple through the village, weakening the old guard significantly. Yet Naruto's actions were not reckless or indiscriminate. He spared those who showed genuine care for their clans, those who guided their families with wisdom and compassion rather than greed and fear.
In the span of one night, Naruto killed fifty to sixty elders across Konoha. His actions were precise, calculated, and utterly ruthless.
But Naruto knew he needed more than anonymity to make an impact. He needed a nameâa symbol that would make people talk, make them question, and make them fear.
As he stood on a rooftop overlooking the village, his dark robe billowing in the wind, he spoke softly to himself.
"Jack," He said, testing the name. A faint smile tugged at his lips beneath the mask. "Let the world remember that name."
Hours later, as the first rays of dawn began to light the horizon, Naruto returned to the Uzumaki house. His movements were slower now, his body was tired but his mind was sharp.
Inside, the home was quiet, its familiar warmth greeting him as he entered. He removed his mask and robe, setting them aside before creating a single shadow clone.
The clone stood before him, its expression serious. Naruto spoke to it calmly. "You know what to do. Take my place as Naruto Uzumaki. Keep everything running smoothly while I'm gone."
The clone nodded, its voice identical to his. "I've got this. Don't worry."
Naruto smiled faintly before activating a jutsu that altered his appearance. His face shifted, the features of his first life taking shapeâyoung, sharp, and undeniably charming. His blond hair darkened slightly, and his blue eyes took on a deeper, more mysterious hue.
Draping himself in a sleek, dark robe, Naruto stepped outside. He glanced back at the Uzumaki house one last time before teleporting to the outskirts of Konoha.
The village he had shaken to its core faded into the distance as Naruto began his journey, his mind focused on the world beyond.
"Jack," He thought to himself. "It's time to leave my mark on this world."
