All three of them felt pain in their heads, but it quickly calmed down. Sara and Clark both staggered, grabbing their temples as the surge of ancient knowledge and power slammed into their minds. The pain was sharp, like needles piercing their souls—but just as quickly, it faded, leaving behind a cold, vast clarity.
Apollo was the first to adjust and instantly felt the energy from this inheritance gush into him. And the energy was something he was quite clear about.
"Death energy," he mumbled as terrifying death energy and rule death enveloped him.
The crystal orb now hovered before him, spinning slowly, as black and grey runes floated around it in graceful arcs. Every rune pulsed with the rhythm of death that changed the atmosphere of the entire place.
Clark and Sara were struggling, as the power of the death rule was too strong even though most of it was concentrated on Apollo.
