Xiaobai quickly twisted its body at the top of the stairs, indicating that it was still around, not so useless.
As it twisted, the Ruanlin Family saw it, and seeing it was okay, she instantly breathed a sigh of relief. Just seeing the Yellow Worm's belly swollen and it lying motionless on the ground, she had really feared it had eaten Xiaobai and was too weak to move.
For she had heard legends before, saying that giant snakes would be weak and unable to move after swallowing big prey.
