Even Lu Sheng felt something creepiness.
Like some invisible bureaucrat in the Karmic Department of Cosmic Affairs just stamped a document and muttered, "Noted."
[Host… that's a real oath.]
"No shit?"
Lu Sheng raised a brow and looked at the two Hell Guards, both still kneeling, heads pressed to the ground, trembling ever so slightly—not in fear, but like something had shifted in them too.
"…Damn," Lu Sheng muttered. "You two are either really dumb or really desperate."
"Both, My Lord," Horse Head said without lifting his head.
"Mostly dumb," Bull Head added.
Lu Sheng snorted. "Fine. You two scammer idiots are my problem now." His laziness returned and felt his rage and anger was too much work for one day.
He turned around, spinning his cane lazily on his fingers. "Get up."
The two stood, slowly, carefully.
"What are you two good at except scamming?" Lu Sheng asked.
Both looked at each other and were not sure how to answer this question.
