Chapter 151 - Chapter 150:Clouded Fang 2.

"You're an idiot, Inuyasha. How are you going to ask about that in front of Kagome? You've really disappointed me."

Throwing some dry twigs into the fire of the nearby bonfire to keep warm and light, Asahiko brings her hand to her head full of blonde hair, before sighing at the half-dog's idiocy.

"Shut up, I was just curious... Who knew Kagome would react like that"

"Good point, even if Kagome had left you, could you even find another one like her?"

"That's right, there is none like Kagome!"

Stopping the embers and pieces of burnt wood flying towards him with his tail, Asahiko watches Inuyasha who is super emotional, then smirks.

"Um, um, I admit Kagome makes good points, but Kikyo's elegance and style far surpasses her"

"Ah, uh, what?"

"I get your point, Inuyasha. It's difficult, if not impossible to defend Kagome in this situation, isn't it?"

Asahiko never pulls any punches, meaning he has a plan, the plan most likely being to corner Inuyasha between Kagome and Kikyo, have this one day something bad and then get beaten up by the former.

"No, Kikyo has too much, too much... Style. but Kagome has warmth! She's like a summer sun, warm and comforting"

"I accept that, but Kikyo is like the moon. She may look cold and lonely on the outside, but she's always there when you need her"

"Hump, Kagome is always there"

What at first was Asahiko cornering Inuyasha into making a slip up and ending up getting beaten up, turned into a full blown verbal battle, where surprisingly Inuyasha held his own despite being an emotional jerk.

"Uh... Should we stop them?"

"I don't think so, Sango. Miss Kagome is embarrassed enough, and it'll be worse if we go out now."

"Shut up, Miroku, I'm not embarrassed..."

"It's, it's okay, Kagome... Just let go, I can't breathe anymore"

Eyes widening in surprise, Kagome finally realizes that she is squeezing Shippo as if he were an anti-stress ball, causing the little fox to be half choked.

...Christopher/Asahiko pov...

Grabbing Inuyasha's full head of silver hair with one hand, she slammed it against one of the stone pillars, then grabbed a wooden plank and smashed it into his back.

"Come on, not that men settle things with. Ahh"

Going flying from the kick Inuyasha gave me in response to my words, I watch as a fist gets bigger in slow motion and then my head goes through a wooden wall.

"Hahaha, come on, get up, or are you not tough enough without your sword anymore"

"You're basically made for fist fighting, I can barely even consider myself a middle distance fighter"

Spitting out the pieces of wood I accidentally swallowed, I wiped my attire clean of the dust remnants and pointed to the class problem.

No joke, Inuyasha is a pure physical beast, while I can certainly fight hand to hand, but when it comes to fighting one specialized in that... I can only hold my own.

"Bah, mere excuses, but if you say Kagome is the best I can let you go"

"Hahaha, I'm going to beat you up so bad your tastes are going to change again, Inuyasha"

"Well, come... Cutting Wind"

"Moon Form:Crescent Gibbous"

Obviously we don't attack each other with those super attacks ourselves, we may disagree, but we're not mindless idiots.

Both attacks were directed towards the outskirts of the ruins, Inuyasha's to the right side and mine to the left, managing to create a mess among the newcomers.

"What are they doing!"

"It's not them that's the problem, Miss Kagome, but... You guys could feel it too?"

Leaving Inuyasha to answer Miroku who has emerged from the ruins with the rest of the group, he formed a good amount of flaming spheres and sent them levitating into the sky.

It really was a bad idea, just like when you see the wound and at that very moment it starts to hurt, because that's how the situation is. There were literally hundreds of deformed beings surrounding our position, you can see villagers, soldiers, animals and all kinds of yokais.

What we have in front of us is a bloody horde of undead raised by Clouded Fang, so like all of his creations, these have parts that are chunks of red flesh and ooze a nasty aura.

"Hey... Aren't we in trouble?"

"Protector of the north, master of the land, impenetrable fortress. Genbu:Guardian barrier."

Giving a glance at Hitomiko who acts quickly, I make my powerful fan appear and with a flick of it, the small spheres from before start to gain size.

Of course, I don't scatter them all over the battlefield just to see, but also to do something that every artist likes... I mean, an explosion!!!

*Boom* *Boom* *Boom* *Boom*

The explosions send dirt, chunks of flesh and blood into the night sky, while the flash of light lets you see that the wave of enemies is not as small as first thought, but easily exceeds thousands.

Thank the almighty that Hitomiko erected a barrier so quickly, otherwise even if we wipe out a few at a time, just by their numbers alone they could surround us and wipe us out a few at a time.

"Black hole!"

"I can help too, magic spinning top"

"Stay inside the barrier, Kirara, as there are too many of them outside. Hiraikotsu!"

You have to admit, Miroku's black hole is the MVP of the game, literally no matter where he points his hand, everything in there gets devoured quickly and then moves on to somewhere else.

On the other hand Shippo and his giant spinning tops by an art of transformation are no big deal, but they serve perfectly to shatter enemy lines and for Sango to eradicate the stragglers with her boomerang.

"Inuyasha, we're falling behind Miroku... Whoever ends up with less is a rotten egg!"

"What, no, is this even a game or, dammit I'm not losing!"

"Don't be idiots and get back in here!"

We both ignore Kagome's shout like it's background noise, something we're probably going to have to pay for later, though now... It's time for action.

Without thinking too much about the hundreds of enemies ahead, she formed a sword of white flames and slammed it into the ground, incinerating a few when below, then exploding it.

*Boom*

Only the heat from the resulting explosion causes nearby enemies to disappear, while the shockwave sends a few of them skyward. While enjoying the feeling of power, I notice how a foot uses my head for support, only to have Inuyasha's appearance reflected on my retina.

"That's how it has to be done. cutting wind!"

With a slashing motion towards the ground, a flash passes over Steel Fang and lets out a massive energy slash, one so powerful that it cuts through enemy lines completely.

"Damn, they don't call it one of the three legendary swords for nothing"

"Ha, it's not because of the sword, but because I'm awesome myself"

"Tsk, you enlarged dog"

Clicking my tongue at such a display of overweening pride, I create another flaming sword in my right hand and charge back for more enemies.

It no longer mattered if they were humanoids or simple flesh aberrations, everything that came to touch my sword died just the same, the sensation was surprisingly addictive, but not enough to ignore the problem.

"They keep coming~"

"Ah, ah... What's wrong, are you tired already?"

"Tell me when you're not panting like a wet dog"

"It was just a breather, let's go again"

Keeping us back to back for a few moments, both Inuyasha and I notice the numbers problem, though we care little for this situation and return to the charge.
