Chapter 4 - New recruit

Morning.

The sun's rays enveloped the academy and the dormitory. Svyat slept in the natural history room or the secret headquarters.

Ange enters the room with a tray on which is a dish covered with a lid. Svyat woke up and became curious.

— And what is breakfast included in the spy's salary?

Ange sighed and replied.

— Spies don't have salaries, but if they do, I'll make sure that this omelet is deducted from yours.

Svyat just smiled and sat down at the table.

Ange, leaving the room, adds.

— After you eat, wash up, there's a meeting in half an hour.

The saint began to eat, looking at the view from the window. A ray of sunlight reached Svyat's briefcase and glinted from its contents.

Svyat stopped eating for a second.

Actions go into control a day earlier, at the moment of enlightenment, the Saint enters into espionage.

The meeting room.

"L" and his colleagues are sitting at the table, Ange and Svyat are standing in front of them, the boy is as close to the table as possible. The recruit is explained his rights and duties.

"L" speaks more actively than anyone else, but at the same time calmly.

— So, I hope you have understood your duties, and if not, then I repeat in short: to fully help the leader of the squad and its members, to fully obey their orders, in no case not to talk about where you work and forget your past life. If the rules are not followed, complete liquidation will follow.

The saint turned a little pale and beads of sweat began to flow down his body.

"L" continues.

— About your rights: you have the opportunity to live in the headquarters, you have limited access to gadgets, and your nutritional and hygiene needs will be met. The pistol will be given out at the warehouse, and you will ask for ammunition from the squad leader.

Svyat asks without restraint.

— Can I replace the gun?

— And what do you want to replace it with? — shows curiosity, lighting a cigarette.

— Do you have any metal? — Svyat lights up with enthusiasm.

"L" sighing.

— "7" escort Agent "S" to the workshop.

In the workshop, an alloy of an unknown metal of bronze color is holy, poured into molds. Having forged and cooled the tools, Svyat shows the result to Anj and "7".

— Good job. — "7" is surprised.

— Hammer and sickle? — Ange wonders.

Svyat speaks with interest.

— My father was a blacksmith, and my mother worked in the fields, so I thought it would be easier for me to handle them.

— Okay, let's go already. — Ange pushes.

The actions are returned to the present. Everyone is sitting at the table discussing the plan for today.

Dorothy is the most active speaker.

— So it turns out that in the evening we need to attend a social ball and then immediately leave to explore the place at the end of the city.

Ange adds.

— And at the same time organize the protection of the princess and the royal family at the ball.

Dorothy's gaze shifts to Svyat.

— Do you understand everything, Holy? — Dorothy asks sarcastically.

Meanwhile, Svyat is coolly examining a mug of tea.

Ange nudged the boy imperceptibly while sipping tea.

— Eh? What? — Svyat was agitated.

Dorothy in a high-pitched voice.

— I'm telling you, is everything clear, Glory Lavigne?

— I still do not agree with this conspiracy, this name does not make a Frenchman beautiful. — Svyat answers.

— You're not French. — Beatrice emphasizes.

— But still. — Svyat is indignant.

— So everyone, we're going to do it, if you have things to do, do them quickly.

Everyone except Svyat leaves the room. The kid starts packing for a cultural event. After a while, Ange comes into the club with a tuxedo and asks serenely.

— Were you going to go in the clothes you stole from the newspaper man?

— I don't have any better clothes, and why are they stolen right away? — Svyat was perplexed.

— The assumption, from what you told us, you couldn't have such new clothes, and Stephen's size wouldn't fit you. — Ange said with restraint. — And if you needed clothes, you could have asked me right away.

Svyat, seeing the tuxedo, asked.

— I take it this tuxedo was sent from control?

— No, I got it from the planet of the black lizards. — I'm from there, — Ange replied confidently.

The kid thought about it and suggested.

— That would explain your unworldly beauty.

Ange had a confused expression on her face, but she started helping Svyat try on the costume.

Charlotte suddenly came into the room. She stood in front Svyat and Ange and began to speak.

— Since you're both here, I'd like to say that I couldn't tell you last night.

The princess's words caught Svyat's attention.

 — Is it something to do with the royal family? — The kid asked.

Charlotte smiled amiably.

— Yes. — after which she told the story about the substitution of Ange and Charlotte.

Svyat nervously looked back at Ange, then back at Charlotte and began to mutter.

— Haha, it's funny, really, tell me it's a joke! — And if it's not a joke, then why is he telling me this!?

— For the sake of trust, because now you know very secret information and from now on we will not take our eyes off you, know this. Charlotte explained calmly and affably.

Svyat's breathing quickened and he muttered.

—Oh, my f...
