Chapter 80 - Fray VS Oliver (2)

Around the old wooden cabin, dozens of warriors stood like statues—spread out in every direction, eyes sharp, weapons ready. Though it was the dead of night, no one slept. No one even blinked without intent.

For three days straight, not a single one had left their post. They didn't eat together. They didn't talk. They waited. Silent. On edge.

The air was cold, heavy with tension.

Then, a voice broke the stillness.

"Look! What is that?"

"Where?" another asked, spinning around, sword raised.

"Up there… in the sky!"

Murmurs rippled across the lines of soldiers. Eyes turned upward as the moonlight shimmered faintly through drifting clouds.

And then they saw it.

Dark rings—at first just shadows—began to take shape high above. Perfect circles, rippling subtly against the stars, almost blending into the night sky. Unnatural. Unnerving.

The warriors tensed. Bows were drawn. Shields were lifted.
