Well, this was just how these things were, so it wasn't wrong to feel a bit excited about this.
Especially since the photos turned out quite well.
After they came out of the slot, Veronica took it and split them in half. Though it did take her some time to split it since she was looking carefully over them, as if she was carefully choosing which ones to take.
There was a part of me that wanted to say that she could have them all, but I held myself back.
It wasn't that I didn't want to say it, it was just that I knew that there was no point in saying it.
I could see that with the way that she looked, she wouldn't have accepted what I said. The only thing that I could do now was wait for her to pick the ones that she wanted and then take the ones that she offered me.
