There was an awkward silence that hung in the air after all of this.
But then there was a shaking that came from the closet.
Before any of us could react, the door of the closet suddenly opened and there was a bunch of clothes and other things that fell out.
They fell onto Miss Catherine who was standing right in front of the closet.
As she was covered in her own clothes, her face turned even more red and she looked even more awkward. It almost looked like she was about to break out in tears with the way that she looked.
Both Yan Ling and I slowly turned away to avoid looking at her like this, but that just seemed to make her even more emotional.
So with a cough, I said, "How about we help you clean up?"
Slowly, Miss Catherine gave a nod.
With that, we started picking up the trash that was scattered around the apartment.
There was quite a bit of it, so it took around half an hour before we could even start to make a dent in the mess that was in this apartment.
