In Itsuki's perception, Obito was beyond redemption, and he wouldn't spare him either. Obito was like a madman who would bite anyone and anything.
He even attacked his teacher and his wife and went as far as trying to harm their newborn. Kushina treated him so kindly yet he didn't think twice before harming her.
Itsuki felt fortunate that Kushina survived, for harming his wife he would not let Obito go.
But he would let Obito die quietly, as he didn't want to cause any emotional burden to Kakashi or Kushina over that trash.
Although it's a bit cheap for that bastard, it's still better for Obito to be remembered as a hero of Konoha....
