She felt embarrassed at the sudden outburst. She'd not realized she would react to that with so much excitement. But. A real life tournament? A tournament she got to go to?

She felt a sudden wave of excitement course through her veins. Her heart began to pound. She couldn't help but smile, and her eyes sparkled.
"I." She began. "I didn't realize. We had. Tournaments."
Phoenix smiled, his expression playful and teasing. "We do, darling. When there's not some crisis or another getting in the way, at least."
