They say a woman should never be too forward, because a man often doesn't cherish what comes too easily.
Sofia Hamilton held her phone, intending to send a message.
But after typing several times, she deleted it again.
She dialed his number, yet ultimately didn't call.
Just wait a bit longer...
Perhaps, in a little while, he would call.
Sofia held her phone, distracted and lost in thought.
When Brianna Wood came out, she saw her sitting there, daydreaming.
"What's wrong?"
She came to her senses and forced a smile, "I'm fine."
"Your face says otherwise."
Brianna smiled understandingly, "Want to go back early, do you?"
"Well, they say once you marry off a daughter, she forgets her mother, just as a son forgets his after marriage." Brianna joked about marriage and then remembered an important issue, "By the way, does Ryan Gregory really want to divorce? Have you asked him?"
When the topic was brought up, Sofia felt a lump in her throat.
