Situated within the Ziwei Enclosure, Master of the Myriad Phases, surrounded by all stars, commanding the heavens, governing the myriad laws, ruling over Fengdu, master of the stars of all heavens.
As a Heavenly Court Venerable, a Vice Lord at that, he was supposed to be among the most revered in this world.
Yet for ten thousand years, no matter how much authority he held or how advanced his strength, an insurmountable mountain always loomed before him, obstructing his path to the summit.
Perhaps many believe that as the Vice Lord of the Heavenly Court, this Venerable's desire is to replace the Jade Emperor, to truly become the Ruler of the Heavenly Court, taking control of it.
In fact, it is not so; while the position of the Jade Emperor is respected, it has never been the true pinnacle. Since the establishment of the Heavenly Court, power has always been in the hands of the various Taoist Monarchs.
