Peter Brown looked outside and realized that this battle was even more intense than the last one, with divine artifacts formed from military flags clashing in the air, flames burning ferociously, and energy swirling. Any object that came into contact with that energy was reduced to nothingness.
Looking at those military flags again, during the first attack, some energy would always dissipate as the opponent's energy arrived.
Seeing this, Peter Brown then looked in front of himself.
To his surprise, only a thin layer of faith energy remained from his defenses; in fact, his defenses had already been broken earlier. The protective layers created from ordinary materials had vanished, leaving only this last line of defense woven from faith energy.
Peter remembered that this layer of defense was something he had set up to test whether the faith energy he obtained could withstand Soul Attacks. Unexpectedly, it was this that protected him from the onslaught.
