As soon as she smelled the fishy odor, Scarlett Glenn felt her stomach churning. Was her stomach acting up again? But it had been a while since she last had a stomachache.
Scarlett Glenn went to have a cup of hot water to feel better. Then she thought about trying the kitchen, but as soon as she entered, she smelled the fish again.
She covered her nose, "Fifth sister-in-law, why does the fish smell so fishy today?"
"Not at all, it's just the same as usual."
"What about this meat, are you sure it's fresh?"
Fifth sister-in-law nodded, "Yes, look at the bloodshot, don't worry. I have a lot of experience in buying groceries, I can tell if the pork is fresh with just one glance."
Scarlett Glenn nodded, "Oh, that's good then. Fifth sister-in-law, I actually wanted to help you, but I'm afraid I might mess it up, so… better you do it."
Fifth sister-in-law nodded, "Young Madam, please go rest, leave it to me. You go upstairs and have a nap, you don't look very well."
