Aidan Lucas stood up and purposely glanced aside, not wanting Ben Lucas to see the slight loneliness in his eyes.
He walked to the other side of the bed and sat down with his back to Ben.
"Go find your mother, it's still early now, they haven't gone to rest," the man's voice was low and seemed a bit awkward.
But on listening closely, it might not seem like that, as if he was deliberately holding back something, not wanting Ben to know.
Ben slightly turned his head to look at the tall figure of the man sitting on the bed.
He looked so tall, but at that moment, it instantly reminded Ben of the figure that had left that day.
The faint outline of the figure, as if about to disappear.
That Aidan Lucas, it tugged at his heart.
Ben had originally jumped off the bed, ready to make a run for it.
But when he turned and saw Aidan Lucas's lonely and indifferent back, he suddenly felt an unexpected sense of reluctance.
