Even with Vittorio blocking the path, Hiro didn't slow down. Instead, he charged straight at him. Hiro knew he couldn't afford to slow down after coming this far.
However, he couldn't act recklessly either.
Having made it this far, all this effort would go down the drain if he lost the ball.
Like a shadow, Vittorio attached himself to Hiro. He wouldn't let him out of sight and didn't allow Hiro to lose him. Like before, he stuck with Hiro.
However, unlike before, he pressed Hiro this time. He wasn't intending to keep him occupied. Instead, he was aiming for the ball.
Perhaps their earlier encounter had fueled his confidence. Now, he wouldn't be satisfied with just keeping him occupied. He believed he could pin him down.
"You're not as good as others make you look," Vittorio sneered inside his heart before thrusting himself toward Hiro.
He wanted to limit Hiro's space. Hence, he flung his arms to prevent himself from escaping. However, he was meticulous in doing so.
