The Tangible Millinger had most of a Millinger's physical toughness. So, it was still alive, despite being hit by a 180-metre-radius sphere. The stone sphere had struck at the spot between its neck and body, damaging it the most.
Even if it wasn't dead, the Tangible Millinger couldn't break free, for it was fully crushed under the stone twice as big as its body. However, as long as Shuwrak Zahara manages to come into contact with it, he could retract it into his Human Avatar.
