Chapter 570 - Chapter 570: Time Annihilation Sword - Incomplete Version

Mastering the river of time through an ink-drip method is tedious and long.

After some time, Garon withdrew his time-embodied form, manifesting on the extreme northern icefield, bathing in the pervasive snowstorm. Simultaneously, he sensed several familiar presences within the icefield.

Silently, the silver dragon vanished from where it stood.

Garon appeared above a great icy rift, his massive body unnoticed, as if he had no existence or concept, invisible and imperceptible.

Lowering his gaze, Garon's sight pierced the ice, seeing a white dragon resting in the rift below.

The dragon was about sixty meters long, with ice-blue scales and a pair of dragon horns on its head, robust and unlike ordinary white dragons.

This was one of Garon's brothers.

Perhaps influenced by Garon's radiation, his siblings grew faster than typical white dragons, though not as quickly as Garon.

In their ancient dragon phase, they had one foot in the demigod realm.

Three demigod white dragons were now the strongest forces on the Noah Continent, widely celebrated in legend. Moreover, demigods were still gods; thus, the northern icefield was now seen by the intelligent beings of Noah Continent as a divine domain, a forbidden area.

"...All ancient dragons, yet mother White Dragon barely reached legendary status."

Garon couldn't help but think of his mother.

Not lingering long in the icefield, Garon quietly observed his siblings before leaving and returning to the Hero's Domain.

Hero's Domain, Dragon Court.

Garon arrived at the Eternal Hall of Heroes and found a small ice crystal nest outside the hall's door, amidst the drifting clouds and wind. His mother, now thirty meters long, was sleeping soundly on it, ignoring the glances from passing dragons.

The silver dragon's eyes flickered with light, instantly understanding why his mother was sleeping near the hall.

When Garon descended to the prime material plane, his mother had come to the Eternal Hall to find him. Failing to locate him, she had stayed nearby.

Compressing his body to several hundred meters, the silver dragon flapped his wings, approached the small ice nest, and extended a hooked claw.

Poke.

The claw prodded his mother's forehead, shaking her awake.

"Who dares to disturb the sleep of the great, eternal mother?"

"Oh, it's you, Garon, my most proud son. Never mind then."

Seeing it was Garon, she quickly changed her tone.

"Why are you sleeping at the door of the Eternal Hall of Heroes?"

The silver dragon shook his head and asked.

"Ahem, no reason."

"I just sleep better here."

She said, spreading her wings and lifting her upper body proudly, extending her neck to make herself appear larger, displaying her legendary body and the thick dragon aura.

Her intentions were clear.

Obviously, she wanted Garon to praise her for reaching legendary status and hopefully give her a congratulatory gift.

Garon knew her too well; understanding her thoughts required no special means.

"Alright, continue sleeping. I won't disturb you."

The silver dragon spoke calmly and turned to leave.

"Wait, wait."

"Don't rush off."

She quickly flew to Garon and, pretending nonchalance, asked, "Garon, don't you notice anything different about me?"

Garon shook his head, looking her over, and feigned confusion. "What's different? I can't see it."

She extended her wings to the limit, continuing to show off her legendary dragon body and aura. "I've finally reached legendary status and become a legendary dragon!"

While speaking, she swished her tail, expectantly looking at Garon, hoping for praise and a gift.

The silver dragon nodded, saying, "I see."

"To me, there's little difference between legendary and demigod. I'm sorry I didn't notice your promotion."

She shook her head, saying, "Now you know, shouldn't you show some appreciation?"

For an ordinary dragon, legendary status is a significant milestone. In dragon culture, close kin usually give a congratulatory gift upon such a promotion.

When a dragon god ascends, other gods would celebrate and bring gifts as a friendly gesture.

Garon nodded, calmly saying, "Congratulations."

She waited expectantly but heard nothing more from Garon.

"And then?"

She blinked.

"And then what?"

The silver dragon blinked back.

"Hmph, I'm leaving. I'll go play on the prime material plane."

She flapped her wings in anger and left the Eternal Hall of Heroes, heading for the prime material plane.

Her life had rarely been spent on the prime material plane, and now, having reached legendary status, she wanted to enjoy being a tyrant there.

"Wait."

She heard Garon calling.

Does calling mean I should stop? I have dignity too! She thought, but her body obediently paused and turned to the majestic silver dragon.

A time amber, containing various magical artifacts, floated before her.

"The Imaska Armor, magical equipment I once used."

"As a gift for your legendary promotion, it's yours now."

The amber dissolved, and with a cry of surprise, the seven artifacts embedded themselves in her body.

Buzz... A golden glow shone on her scales.

With her abilities, using the Imaska Armor was challenging, so Garon modified it slightly, retaining only its defensive capabilities for her use.

Looking at her gleaming scales, she was overjoyed. "I love this gift."

Garon nodded lightly, then returned to the Eternal Hall, coiling in his dragon nest.

The silver dragon extended a claw.

Buzz... Numerous divine crystals, causing ripples in the river of time, appeared, hovering above Garon's claw, all bearing his essence and divine light.

These were godhoods Garon had collected.

Mostly demigod godhoods, some weak godhoods, and a few moderate ones.

"To forge the true Time Annihilation Sword, these godhoods are insufficient in both quantity and quality."

"But to know exactly how much more is needed, I must experiment and determine."

Garon planned to attempt forging the sword with these godhoods. His intuition told him it would fail, but he needed to gain experience and determine the exact requirements.

Exhaling deeply, the silver dragon focused, his platinum eyes reflecting the godhoods, sensing their shared essence.

Each godhood represented at least a demigod-level deity with temporal authority.

A single intelligent being possessing so many distinct yet identical godhoods would be unbelievable to other deities, even mighty ones, as it was extraordinary.

These were godhoods, not ordinary items, the most indestructible material in the multiverse, or rather a physical manifestation of certain concepts or rules.

Even a demigod's godhood was indestructible.

Only special means or extremely targeted abilities could destroy a demigod's godhood, a feat challenging even for powerful deities.

Garon willed it.

The godhoods, like miniature stars, hovered before him, emanating an ancient and timeless aura, slowly floating.

The next moment, time seemed to freeze.

As time power poured in uncontrollably, the godhoods began to move according to Garon's will, slowly shaping into sharp, flat fragments.

Then, under Garon's precise control, they sequentially projected onto his extended claw, piece by piece, fitting perfectly together, seamlessly merging.

As they all originated from Garon, there was no repulsion. Different deities' godhoods wouldn't have fused.

Over time, the fragmented godhoods joined, forming a rough shape.

Hilt, guard, blade... Piece by piece, fragment by fragment, eventually, an incomplete "Time Annihilation Sword" appeared in Garon's sight.

After traversing various times and harvesting godhoods repeatedly, Garon's collection could only form a small portion of the sword, and even that was a bit strained.

"Still lacking half the godhoods."

"Though incomplete, the sword should have some effect."

With this thought, Garon picked up the half-sword to test its power.

The silver dragon raised a claw, and a time amber embedded in his dragon nest floated into his grasp.

Inside the semi-transparent amber, the original sun god repeated the cycle of breaking through plane walls and delivering threats.

After ascending to near-strong godhood, Garon had reinforced the sun god's seal, who still didn't know the Dawn War had ended, trapped in an endless loop.

"Poor thing."

Garon admired his trophy before dissolving the time amber.

The time amber faded, exposing the temporal corridor within, starting to collapse. Simultaneously, the Hero's Domain rules descended, binding the original sun god with temporal chains, rendering it immobile.

The sun god's power had waned from repeated cycles, leaving it extremely weak.

Releasing the corridor wouldn't free it from Garon's grasp.

Now, the sun god's form was suppressed into a ten-meter sphere.

In the massive silver dragon's palm, it looked oddly cute despite its harmlessness.

"Yaheng."

The original sun god heard Garon call its name.

Simultaneously, its bindings loosened slightly, allowing it to speak.

"Garon Aurelian, what's happening?"

"What trickery is this, some illusion? Yes, you must have created a temporal illusion to deceive me."

Saying this, the sun god closed its eyes, seeking flaws in Garon's 'illusion.'

So realistic, the illusion felt indistinguishable from reality, no flaws... thought the sun god.

"You seem unwilling to face reality."

Garon smiled, lifting a hooked claw and gently spinning it.

The spherical sun god spun like a black, grotesque ball, making it dizzy.

After a moment, Garon stopped spinning.

The sun god felt as if it saw spinning stars, taking a while to recover.

It realized it wasn't in an illusion... Everything

was real, including the near-strong Garon Aurelian.

Seeing the silent sun god, Garon chuckled. "Yaheng, it seems you understand your situation."

The sun god showed indifference. "I have calculated the forces of the Primordials and gods, and the prime material plane's limits. Haha, the prime material plane will shatter, and the multiverse will return to the primordial era."

Pausing, it said, "Your seal is meaningless. I will eventually break free."

After speaking, it noticed Garon's gaze was odd.

Hmm... a look of... pity?

The sun god was first puzzled, then furious.

"Garon Aurelian, what does that look mean?"

"You disdain and belittle a great primordial born with the multiverse! Though defeated, I won't tolerate your contempt. It's a desecration of the ancient!"

Garon maintained his pitying look.

After its angry words, the silver dragon calmly said, "Yaheng, the second Dawn War ended over three hundred years ago. The primordial gods are history."

"The deep-sea ancient god was slain, the terror lord sealed, and other primordial gods were either killed or sealed like you."

The sun god was stunned.

"Haha, I don't believe it."

"Trying to unsettle me? My will is unbreakable."

It stubbornly said.

Garon pointed to the treasures filling his dragon nest. "Don't believe me? Look for yourself."

The sun god's numerous eyes shrank, and its expression became vacant.

Among the layers of gold and gems were many time ambers, some containing familiar figures—various primordial gods.

There were too many time ambers.

"How... how can this be?"

Garon blinked, chuckling. "Yaheng, let me tell you plainly. You were sealed early, trapped in a temporal loop I created, unaware of the second Dawn War."

"Since I released you, I'll mercifully let you understand the war's course."

The second Dawn War's events were well-documented, not a secret. Telling the sun god had no significant impact.

If any, it would satisfy Garon's slight sense of amusement.

With a slight gesture, he conjured a ring in the river of time, displaying the second Dawn War's timeline.

The sun god, sealed early in the war, saw the escalating conflict, rising casualties, large-scale deaths, and the prime material plane's impending collapse, tilting victory towards the primordials.

Until—the arrival of the variant dragon legion.

Seeing the dragons dominate the battlefields, the sun god fell silent, understanding why the primordials lost.

These dragons, from various timelines, had turned the tide.

"To the victor go the spoils. Do as you will."

"But you released me just to humiliate me. Haha, no honor in victory."

"Moreover, primordials are immortal. As long as the multiverse exists, we won't truly perish."

"We may yet return, don't get too complacent. This war is far from over."

The sun god tried to spit black mist at Garon, showing disdain.

Despite losing, it refused to accept defeat, feeling very aggrieved.

The silver dragon rubbed its chin scales, surprised. "How did you know I only released you to humiliate you? I have a proper experiment to conduct, just not urgently."

Seeing Garon's malicious gaze, the sun god felt a bad premonition.

"What do you intend?"

Garon smiled, reassuring the nervous sun god. "Don't worry, just a small experiment."

"If successful, no matter how long the timeline, this war will end."
