Barion and Pradhi still hadn't gotten into the habit of sleeping at night. After not seeing the sun for years, their bodies were struggling to adjust to the cycle of night and day. Since they didn't have anything to do just yet, they could roam around the estate at will. They often visited their sister and nephew. Domtessa Ishan eventually came back from a temple patrol, and she joined the chaos.
They marveled at all the changes that happened in Puka since their abduction. But even though people had come and gone and stores built and torn down, there was a familiarity that stemmed from spending hours running through the streets.
