Chapter 113 - Reunion

Pradhi and Barion looked out of the window of the carriage. The wind passing by felt fresh on their face. Pradhi had forgotten what it was like to feel a passing breeze. Barion felt uneasy in the confines of the carriage.

After being under lock and key for so long, the walls of the carriage felt too close, and he struggled to maintain his composure. Luckily for them, they could stop the carriage regularly to walk about whenever they wanted to.

This meant that the trip took a lot longer than it was supposed to. But the carriage driver didn't mind overly much. The leisurely pace was a nice change from the hurried nature of transporting goods.

As they arrived into Puka, they felt the familiar energy of the city fall over them. It was both overwhelming and comforting. They stayed in the carriage until they reached the estate, though part of them wanted to get out and explore the city.
