Rakhi tried to scream for Vaibhav, but her voice was stolen by the dark magic surrounding her. She struggled against the invisible force, her eyes wide with terror. Before her very eyes, the demon transformed—its grotesque form twisting into a horrific witch, her appearance so terrifying it made Rakhi's blood run cold.
The witch grinned wickedly and raised her hand, drawing Rakhi's life force toward her. Rakhi could feel herself weakening, her strength slipping away. Her vision blurred. She was on the brink of death.
Suddenly, a flash of golden light split the darkness. Vaibhav had arrived.
With a powerful surge of energy, Vaibhav hurled the witch away from Rakhi, freeing her from the dark pull. The witch staggered back, her red eyes locking onto Vaibhav. She sneered and spoke in a voice filled with venom, "You foolish, beautiful angel. You saved her today... but you'll regret it. I won't spare you next time."
With a chilling laugh, the witch dissolved into a puff of black smoke and vanished.
Rakhi, weak and trembling, began to collapse. But before she could hit the ground, Vaibhav caught her gently in his arms. She gazed into his deep, determined eyes and whispered, "How... how did you know I was here?"
Vaibhav smiled softly. "When I destroyed the demon, I realized you were missing. I could sense the scent of dark magic... and yours," he said, his voice warm and reassuring.
Hearing his words, Rakhi's eyelids fluttered closed, and she fainted in his arms.
The Realm of Angels
In the golden world of angels, Rakhi sat beside a small, fluffy rabbit named Pan. Her cheeks flushed pink as she spoke, "I never got to thank Vaibhav for saving me. I fainted before I could say a word. I keep hoping to meet him again... and somehow, waiting for him like this... it feels like I'm falling in love."
Pan's ears twitched as he smiled and said, "If that's how you feel, then Vaibhav must truly be someone special."
Meanwhile, soaring through the skies of the divine realm, a burst of angelic light streaked across the horizon. It was Splendor—the heavenly messenger. He carried a large, pink leaf, shimmering with sacred inscriptions.
The leaf floated gently into Vaibhav's hands. Curious, he read its message:
"Angel Vaibhav, though you have long existed, you have yet to fulfill your first task on Earth.
Your mission is to guide a girl who has been denied success despite her goodness.
In her past life, she earned great merit, but in this life, her kind heart is exploited by others.
She is destined for greatness, yet stands alone—unsuccessful, misunderstood, and often dismissed.
You must help her find her path to success.
Beware: her tendency to cause unintentional chaos has cost her many jobs.
Support her... and remember the sacred laws.
Should you break them, your punishment will be severe."
As Vaibhav finished reading, a commanding voice echoed through the heavens, "Vaibhav, the girl's name is Manya. Help her, but do not forget: an angel must never violate the divine laws."
Vaibhav nodded solemnly. "I understand, my Lord. When do I begin?"
The voice answered, "Now."
A blinding light engulfed him—and in an instant, Vaibhav vanished from the celestial world.
Earth
Vaibhav stood now upon Earth, his angelic form hidden. He wore human clothes—a golden-silver coat over a crisp white shirt, matching trousers. His hair was shorter, more human, and he looked less like a celestial being and more like a breathtakingly handsome young man.
He found himself in a beautiful garden. Blossoms in every color surrounded him, butterflies danced through the air, and the distant sound of a waterfall blended with the sweet melody of a flute.
Drawn by the music, Vaibhav followed the sound until he reached the waterfall. There, sitting by the flowing water, was a girl playing the flute. Her long, dark hair floated on the water's surface, and she wore a traditional ghagra choli that shimmered in the sunlight. Her slender, fair waist glowed against the backdrop of the sparkling stream.
Vaibhav stepped closer, eager to see her face. But before he could, a figure blocked his path—a young man in a blue coat, looking perfectly human, but something about him told Vaibhav otherwise.
"Why are you standing in my way?" Vaibhav asked sharply.
The man blinked, startled. "Wait—you can see me?"
"Of course," Vaibhav said coolly. "You're right in front of me. Move."
Realization dawned on the stranger's face. "You... you're not human, are you? No human should be able to see me."
Vaibhav smirked. "And you're an angel, aren't you?"
The stranger nodded slowly. "You recognized me... Then, you must be one of us. An angel."
"Yes," Vaibhav said, crossing his arms. "But unlike you, I'm not foolish enough to need this long to recognize one of my own."
The other angel—Neel—frowned, his pride wounded. "You're arrogant! Let's settle this. Let's fight and see who's better."
Vaibhav's gaze hardened. "I don't need to fight to prove my strength. True power doesn't need to shout."
He stepped aside, determined to continue his mission. "Now get out of my way. I have work to do."
Just as Vaibhav pushed past Neel—something stirred in the air, something that neither of them expected...
