Sonya listened to Clyde's words with a frown, her eyes filled with worry. In truth, her mind already agreed with Clyde's goal. But still, going against the higher beings made her a little uneasy.
Asqa noticed her expression and understood her doubt. She sighed—because she knew exactly what Sonya was feeling. She had felt the same way at first, intimidated by the immense power they were up against. But after watching Clyde fight, she had gained confidence.
"You don't have to decide now. We're not in a hurry, right, Clyde?" Asqa looked at Clyde with hopeful eyes, hoping he'd say something reassuring.
Sonya watched as Clyde nodded with his usual calm expression.
"Yeah. We're not rushing. If you keep everything secret and just go about your usual activities, things will be fine—as long as you don't get too involved with the higher beings' efforts to stop us."
