"Get out of my sight," Elaine hissed.
Carly smirked as if she had already won. With a careless shrug, she backed away, leaving a trail of cruel laughter behind her as she rejoined her friends.
Layla exhaled shakily, glaring at Carly's retreating figure. "This was all planned," she muttered under her breath.
Elaine nodded grimly. "Of course it was. And if Ezra finds out..." She didn't finish the sentence. They all knew exactly what would happen.
Elaine turned back to Scarlett, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "We need to get her out of here. Now. Check how long it will take for Ezra to reach here?"
Layla nodded, already texting Henry for immediate extraction. Every second they stayed on this yacht was another second Scarlett was exposed to danger.
And judging by Carly's smug grin… The worst wasn't over yet.
Elaine watched Carly saunter away with that self-satisfied smirk, her patience snapping like a brittle thread.
