Background
The Mediocris Clan is the oldest clan of the Aristocrat Clans of Magicae. It is a well known clan throughout the Realms with its progenitor being First Fairy King Ellor. A majority of its members live in the neighborhood where the Royal Castle reside. There are few Mediocrisians scattered throughout the Kingdom, which are mostly elders of the clan or members of the marginal houses. The Mediocris Clan are believed to be descended from the Deusrian Gods. Specifically, Siure and Rakia. This automatically makes them distant cousins to all the other aristocrat clans.
Clan System
The Mediocris clan are one of the three strongest clans in Magicae. The Clan, like most Aristocrat Clans, are separated into two parts: the main house which is the Pureblood family and the marginal houses which are the branch families. This separation was created throughout Aristocrat Clans due to the fact there are purebloods and non-Purebloods, and since the Main house are usually small, it needs the clan's marginal houses to protect the Purebloods. The purebloods and leader of the clan belong to the main house and the non-pureblood aristocrats belong to the marginal houses. The main family is usually the smaller house because of it being purebloods only, but it's the strongest house of every aristocrat clan as well. There are at least 2 houses in each clan, excluding the main house. The only other house of the Mediocris clan that has been introduced is House Intune, House Visalba and House Marcalba, but it is 9 marginal houses of the Mediocris clan.
Customs/Traits
Pureblood aristocrats are known to inbreed. They do this to keep their bloodline pure, hence why the main house is only purebloods. Additionally, aristocrats from the marginal houses of all aristocrat clans are also known to inbreed to keep their bloodline pure. However, it's more known to be done by members of the main house.
Members of the Mediocris clan usually have a beige skin tone with white hair and white pupils with brown or dark brown irises. They wear lavish medieval leather clothing, the color of white and/or oxford blue. Most members wear the color oxford blue. They wear black and gold accessories with white gems sometimes embedded into them, and their wings are typically white. King Eris is one of the few members who have melanin in their skin tone. His skin is honey toned as a result of his mother skin tone, Kana of House Marcalba who had an expresso skin tone. House Marcalba and House Visalba are brown skinned and it's the only Houses in the Mediocris clan with darker skinned members.
Magics
The Mediocris clan are one of the aristocrat clans with arcane magic. Every member of the clan can use White magic. The Marginal houses has White magic and one of the four elements, while the Main house has white magic and can use all four elements. However most Purebloods stick to using their most prominent elemental magic, like Mallock with Wind Magic.
Main house members decide not to use elemental magic, or they become dedicated to using only one. Besides white magic and the four elements, a few members of the Main house acquired Dark Magic and the creation of Dream Magic was brought about by the child of King Daevid and his wife from House Pavana of the Vaenol clan. The Dark, and White Magic Queen Daeverana got from her father and Mind Magic she got from her mother is what created her Dream Magic.
