Emerging from the Trial with the power of my blood still pumping through my veins solidified what I needed to do now that we were free; my blood was humming and my body was yearning for something that even Jahi couldn't provide me right now.
A deep, bottomless hunger formed within my belly, a hunger that only one person in the world could help me quench; it was a hunger that was twofold, a hunger that would only be satiated if I could feast on that person to my hearts content.
Something that both of my companions here could sense since I wasn't even trying to hide it; they could see how ravenous I was, see how much I was yearning to return to the camp, and both showed a similar reaction.
Just simple exasperation and amusement as I darted out of the city as soon as I could, both of them following after me a moment later and vocalizing what they felt as they kept up with my enhanced speed.
